I understand the thing about going slow coz on new year's eve one thing would have led to another. Maybe that's why going slow thing comes in. But being friends is something I am not so sure about. right now. They do have to know each other more..but as I said she has to allow Manik to express his love at some level, but maybe she's scared that this proximity might make them lose all control and make them succumb to their desires ultimately, which she might not be ready for as of now.

Another reason for the friend thing cropping up in between them could be that they might wanna show BFF track with regards to Soha, wherein she can take advantage of a certain situation, their current differences and attempt to create a rift between Manan. For there must be some reason that Soha gets to read those messages about Nandini wanting to go slow-she knows what the status of Manan relationship is and knows what Nandini wants.

But if they become friends while allowing some sort of expression of love between them, then also its good. Coz all members of Fab 5 are friends and nobody can turn them against each other as much as they try. Even though Alya-Manik relationship ended, their friendship remained. So Nandu and Manik being friends might strengthen their bond. But 'just' friends..'only' friends...?? There should be some balance between friendship and love.

Thank you for the caps! Understand your sentiments. Its difficult to be just friends when you are drawn to each other like moth to a flame.

There is a difference between being JUST friends and wanting to be friends first!
Friends first before taking things to the next level.

Couples being friends, even best friends is common.
I can see why Nandini would want to be friends first!

said 'just friends' coz she stopped him from kissing her, getting intimate. So assumed as per that logic:Relationship-Intimacy+Friendship=just friends. Chalo, today's ep gave more clarity.
