Aww Sahir đ.
If there was any doubt on whether anyone in that house ever cared this tearful admission to Asharfi cleared it ..
Sahirs emotional breakdown was so poignant...
When he said " koi hai Bhi tho nahi jisse keh sakta hoon" ...what an irony...he lives in a house with family..provides for their needs...and none of them has proven someone he can share his pain or even thoughts with!
His heart is drawn to Arzoo...the past is like a chain strangling him and not letting him move on...he isn't sure if he will be able to move on without fulfilling that promise...and now he has had to make the person he loves hate him....
He acknowledges that Arzoo has the right and the reason to hate him but he has no rights over her...he really is struggling to come out of this quandary...and it's all about the promise...the deal is not about the money...he simply is unable to let go off the promise that has been the only thing he has lived for all these years! He wants to let himself love and be loved but doesn't know how to and doesn't have the support needed to make such a decision!
How sad that he thanks even the bird for being a patient listener...how really sad...doesn't he deserve the comfort of knowing someone is there for him...the simple pleasure of having someone to unburden his thoughts to...what life is this where he is so alone that even his tears are shed alone and he is the only one who wipes them away..
Shouldn't the man who still cares so much and feels guilty for wrongs done by him and wants to set them right ..have the opportunity to live life as it should be lived once again??
The scene was a tearjerker and HC ...hats off to him...no words to describe how beautifully he did it...that self mocking smile through tears...feeling sorry for himself...sniffing back more tears...his voice breaking as he spoke to the bird...the relief in his voice after he spoke..the gratitude in his tone when he thanked Asharfi!
What an emotional performance ...đ..it was simply mind blowing..!
