completely agree with your post pearly... esp the part about character consistency and sahir's self inflicting pain. the latter isn't going to help boost the trps either because most daily soaps are watched by families, and which family would like their children watching a guy always hurting himself to such a high extent? we really need the characters to deliver us what they promised at the start of the show... Where's the strong FL that people really want to see? and sahir's getting too confusing already...it's wearing viewers' patience thin cvs.., please don't let such a beautiful cast and plotline go to waste!! 😭

A very politely worded letter and very apt too Pearly👏.
Seriously the Cvs have begun to try our patience to the limit really. The story line is going around in circles, the deal and the the blackmail bit has been done to death and they need to start a fresh track quickly. Sahir too needs to get on with it, either accept you are married and can't have her or if you want Arzoo then what the heck have you been doing all these days? A confused sahir is not endearing at all.

Arzoo is being shown as someone who is comfortable with both the Choudhary men to the extent that she lets one romance her to the T and has no issues when the other one holds her hand all the time or hugs her close ? Pretty strange really ! No wonder both are fighting over her like dogs fight over a bone. She is in love with Sahir, has felt his touch very closely and yet sleeps comfortably holding Zaki's hand? Once a woman is in love she draws a line with every other man around her because she wants ppl to know she is taken , but here Arzoo does not bother with these things ?

It bothered me when on her b'day, Arzoo after coming straight from Sahir's arms, let Zaki enter her room and feed her cake with his hands, didn't even reflect for a sec that a similar gesture had been made so special by Sahir and how could she let his brother do the same. Now again the same parallels are drawn, Sahir rescued her from the gundas in the jungle, Arzoo felt safe and slept next to Sahir holding his hand. Sahir again saves her izzat from the molester and brings her home and this time she turns to Zaki, and sleeps like a baby holding his hand ?

What are they trying to prove here ? That there is no difference between Zaki or Sahir for Arzoo ? How can a lover and a friend share the same kind of equation with a woman? It makes me question Arzoo's characterization for the first time and the mutilation of her character to make Zaki look glorified has gone horribly wrong.

I mean how many times can u see him go through same cycle over and over again ... I am afraid that when they actually show his pain now no one would even relate to it!

Also suspense and confusion is good ... it keeps viewers on its toes ... but so much of confusion around a char that you stop understanding them even a little does not work ... if viewers can't feel for the characters it kills them for viewers ... one moment Sahir is shown about arzoo ... next about deal ... one moment he is shown to believe zaki another sumaira ... i mean if he worried so much about deal and video why would he tell rehman in the first place that he can't force zaki? Its' like you can never get what Sahir is upto and its' deliberate on part of CVs but its being counter productive!

I agree with the entire post..but most importantly with this point...100%agree...they have dragged his pain for too long...after a while viewers will stop relating!! Even self mutilation will not draw any compassion.

Not only the scenes and directions, there are many details they need to take care of, for example in Sahir's self-talk scene and his scene in Arzoo's room, they forgot to put the spot lightings out of the screen, it more like a location video.

I knew something was amiss , now I understand. It looks like they shot the whole sequence in a hurry, doesn't it ?

Yes and 8:30 is actually family time. People have probably just had dinner or having dinner, no parent will allow a child to watch a ML cutting his hand or breaking a bottle and hurting himself ... no way 😡

Aarzoo is portrayed as naive ... but I don't know if anyone can be this naive , its a family with no men ... shouldn't she draw her lines ?

👏agree...agree...agree!!!
Please can they sack the Editing team??? The editing is so inconsistent most of the times...

Yes I understand TV shows are shot round the clock, but if the editing inconsistencies was a one off case I would not have complained...here its regular n whats sad is during important scenes it shows n it is a turnoff...

Hope the CVs understand that 8.30 slot is dinner time for most Indians...n if they only show negativity...khana khate time kaun itna Rona chahta hai? Some fun element please...a comic relief for a change...Kurti apa n Anams character have shown no progress...neither r they contributing for the story to go ahead nor do they bring sense to the scene...so might as well give them the humor element...Kurti apa does have the flair for comedy...exploit that!

SP has Nisha aur uske cousins, Zee has Jamai Raja n Colors have Udaan...difference is these shows have focus on some positive aspects as well n family drama part is spot on...in Humsafars I wonder if SaAz family r indeed there's...

Sony show TRPs are rarely high...Shailesh Kapoor of Ormax entertainment had long time said this...n moreover if I stand corrected the management in Sony is undergoing change with Sneha Rajani moving out...that's another concern...coz Sneha was a bit lenient... Anyways let's c...coz Sony has an inclination towards romantic shows...so being positive here
