Actually am not suprised at all that Alia took over Deepika's position so fast. Alia is not only the better actress but she's been smart with her film choices.

Considering the amount of fans she has on this forum...if she keeps picking good films and delivering good performances..this girl can be a top actress for a while.

Seeing that most of her films have been hits this year..outside of this forum..it seems like people like her too.

Am really amazed at this girl's talent. Being a newbie and all and achieving so much at a short span. I have an unhealthy obsession with her. Can't wait for her next film to come out. She has a very exciting career ahead of her. It's exciting to see what she does next.

Not only that I find her very interesting..esp the way she handled how people reacted to her not knowing who the president of India is. I also really liked her in Masand's interview rout able of actresses or whatever it's called. I need to go watch more of her interviews.

PS am probably the only one who liked her since SOTY days. 😆

If Kareena stops doing films...now I have someone to replace her with. Alia reminds me so much of bebo esp onscreen.

Aalia is the star of 2014! I don't think any other actor or actress had a consistent and interesting 2014. She gave BO hits and good performances. If she continues to choose good films and diverse roles she is the next superstar for the next 10+ years.

I believe even off-screen, she had an interesting year with the innovative Genius of the Year spoof. She tried something new by doing that. Only after she collaborated with AIB other bollywood stars started promoting themselves by joining hands with AIB and TVF.
