Umm you wouldn't probably use it for a scene like that. Depends on the director. I only remember Amir khan saying for a film he did drink to act drunk, that one time. Plus it is hard to act fake drunk without being stereotypical and over exaggerated.some actors can do it though without drinking just like some can cry without glycerine.
