Geet sat at the back right behind the driving seat.

Geet(Selfthought): Abh mai kia karo... Mom said that I will have to eat this... liken in kay samne... Abh mai koi choti bachi to ho nahi kay Mom nay Lunch bana kay da diya... I would have eaten from outside... school days yaad dila diya

Geet was mumbling herself when she felt that some one was watching her. She raised her eyes and saw that the front mirror of the car was showing her face to Maan and he was smirking.

Geet gave him a very sweet smile and then wore her sun glasses and then started looking outside.

Maira: So Geet admission process kaha tak pohcha?

Geet: Bas Mom abhi aik test hai...I mean interview hai... wo scholarship kay liye apply kia tha na to...is waja say... u know thwy have to pick the best students...

Geet(Self thought): Un kay same to interview hai but asal mai to grilling session horaha hota hai hum becahre students ka...

Geet was distracted from her thoughts when Maira uttered

Maira: Kab

Geet: Day after tomorrow

Maira: Par Day after tomorrow to Engagement hai

Geet: Haa... wo Mom Dad ko pata nahi tha... Abh Date agay bhi to nahi hosakti

Maira: Ha yeh to hai... sab ko bol bhi diya hai.

Geet nooded trying not to look at the mirror

Miara: Chalo koi bhi problem ho to tell me and Maan... we will sort it out

Maira: Aur tyari kaisi chal rahi hai... aisa karo Maan say kaho tumhara mock interview lay le.. achi practice ho jaigi

Geet eyes averted right that instant

Maan: Haa Ha geet sure... tell me whenever you are ready...

Maan smiled at her while looking at her mirror

Geet(Selfthoought|): Saru mera mock interview lay ga to bus... mai to paka fail hogi... Waisay hi mujse se in kay samne bola hi nahi jata...

Maan: Abh sochti hi rahogi yah kuch khalogi... Mom nay kuch diya tha if I remember...

Geet glared at him from the mirror and immediately changed her expressions to a sweet smile when Maira turned to her and said

Maira: Haa Geet beta eat something... Mall mai fatigue hogi... sab kuch aaj hi lena hai..

Geet: Ji Mom.

Geet started eating sandwiches while Maan kept on taking glances.

This hide and seek of eyes kept on going until they reached the mall.

Inside the shop Maira was selecting her dress for engagement while Maan was sitting on one side and checking his e-mails and replying while Geet was busy looking at the colours and the dresses

Maiar: Geet: Yeh Pink colour kaisa hai..? abhi light colour karleyte hai... shadi par to dark hi pehna hai

Geet wasn't liking that dress at all...

Geet eyes were on a dress with very intricate designing on it. It was simple yet it classy. While Maira was choosing a very heavy work.

Geet(Self-thought): Abh mai kia bolo... I don't like the design... Colour to acha hai but... Abhi agar bol diya to... they will think that mai nakhre kar rahi ho...

Maan was looking at her where her eyes were staring

Maan(Self-thought) Abh why is she not saying anything. If she doesn't like it. She should say so.. Its her day too...

Geet didn't say anything and nodded at all the things Maira was saying.

Maira: Ok Pack this pink one.

Shopkeeper: Ok Madam... anything else

Maira: Let me see on that side.

Maan(Self-thought): Lo hogaya kaam... If not Mom she could have said it to me... Girls get over excited when they see their engagement dresses and here look at her. Mom bought her here to know about her choice and she...kuch nahi ho sakta iska...

Maira moved on the next stall looking for something for herself.

Geet got hold of that blue dress with a combination of sea green with silver work on it. She was looking at the stuff when her eyes set on the price tag.

Geet(Self-thought) Thank God I didn't choose this one... Its so expensive... Mom would be like... abhi ghar nahi aye to itne nakhre...Pehley hi they are cooperating so much...

Maan looked at it and knew what the matter is.

Maan(Self-thought) Acha to yeh baat hai...

Maira: Geet you should check the size too...agar koi roblem hoi to we can get it altered

Geet went to the room to see

Maira followed her

Geet changed and came

Maira: Size to sahi lag raha hai... colour bhi suit kar raha hai...theek hai Geet.. or do u want to change it

Geet: Mom jaisay aap ki marzi...

Geet changed back in to her previous dress and moved to go with Maira to the other shop. Maan asked to pack the blue with sea green dress instead of that pink one of the same size.

Maan paid through his credit card and was waiting for them outside the other shop

Maira: Chalo geet abh jewllery dekh lay... Waisay to I want you to wear our khandani jewllery but it won't go with this colour

Geet nodded

They came to Maan and told him the same

Maan: Waisay Mom you got a very sughar, sushil daughter in law...koi argument hi nahi karti... Jaisay aap bolti hai... Haa mai haa mila deti hai...

Geet knew he was teasing her and glared at him.

Maira: Na tang karo meri beti ko...

Maira kept her hand hand on her shoulder, sort of hugging her from side and kissed her cheek when Maan voiced out loud

Maan: Wah kia zamana agaya hai... abhi to ghar par nahi ayi to meri postion lay li... Maan beta apna koi aur bandowast karle...

And all grinned at that

After looking at the jewelry and buying a set chosen by Maan, they were shopping for Geet's ring.

Maan knew that she was a simple girl... She didn't want anything fancy.

So he opted for a 4 carat princess cut blue diamond ring.

Geet eyes gleamed at the beauty of the ring and right that instant Maan knew that she likes it.

The last shop they had to go for were the shoes

Geet(Self-thought) Abh to heel pehni hi paregi Geet... Abh engagement mai tu flats pehnegi... Aur Maan nai bhi to kaha tha... he likes confident girls... Abhi sirf heel pehente hoa teri jaan nikal rahi hai... baad mai kya karegi

Geet was looking at different sandals with low heels...

Maira: Try this one.. that one with silver stud

Geet nodded and wore that one

Geet stood up and tried to look in the mirror to see whether it was looking nice...

Geet(Sandal to boht acha hai... par heel kuch zada nahi hai... Yeh na ho engagement wale din moch ajai...)

Maira: Ha yeh achi lag rahi hai... kyun Geet?

Geet smiled and was bout to say some thing when Maira uttered

Maira: Pack this one

Geet(Self-thought) Lo gayi bhens pani mai

Maan was smiling at her looking at all her expressions.

Maira: Maan tum bhi shopping karlo abh... Guys ka to aik hi shop say shopping ho jati hai..

Geet grinned at that

Maan: Mom I am going to Armani shop..so you come there

Maira noode and got the shoes and went to his shop

When they both got there Maan had already was wearing one of the suits

Geet (Self-thought): Wow Maan is looking so classy in this... waisay dekha jai har cheez mai hi ache lagte hai...My handsome...

Geet just smacked her head when she uttered

Geet you are a gone case now... and turned around

Maan already saw this and was smirking

Maan moved closer to her, near her ear... While Maira was looking else where

Maan: Lagta hai Msk ka jadu chal gaya hai aap par...

Geet turned around and got disbalanced and Maan grabbed her hand right before she could fall flat on the ground.

They both got lost in each other eyes...

Maira turned around

Maira: Beta Geta are you ok?

And that is when they came back

Both were embarrassed and composed themselves

Geet: Yes...just got disbalanced

Maan purchased the same suit he tried and moved to the car

While moving outside

Maira: U should have some milkshake Geet... Kafi zada ghume na hum log...

Go Maan bring her some

Maan went from their and bought chocolate shake for her, Maira and himself.

Geet was sipping her milkshake when Maan smirked at her and then winked...

Geet's cheek turned red right that instant.

She finished milkshake and then resumed looking outside

Maira: Geet beta apna number day dejiye

Geet:ji

Maira: just wait...

Mairatried to find her phone... but she couldn't find it... It was lost in her bag somewhere

Maira: Beta Maan Take her number.. I don't know where I have kept my phone

Man: Geet give me a missed call... I am driving so it would be difficult

And he told the number and his phone rang

Maan: Ok got it.

Geet too saved his number.

And then they were back to Geet's home.

Get was about to pick the bags and uttered

Geet: Mom u should come inside... Dad would have returned too for lunch

Maira: No No beta... I have lots to do aur phir Maan also has to go to Office...will talk to you soon beta... take care... bye

Maira: Waisay bhi me and Ram will have to come to to give all the things... so will come in the evening...

Geet nodded and left the bags

Maira: Beta best of luck for your interview.

Geet: Thank you Mom.

Geet felt a little disappointed. She wanted Maan also to wish her but..

Geet(Selfthought) Kiya soch rahi hai...abhi to sirf rishta pakka hoa hai... engagement bhi nahi hoi aur tu soch rahi hai... Ek dafa is relation ka koi naam to ho phir hi kuch bolegay na... hmmm. Mai bhi duffer ho... kuch bhi sochti hu... aur ooper say his mom is with him abviously he would be reluctant too.

Maan(Self-thought) I know Geet what you want to hear but for that u will have to wait till night.

Geet: Bye Mom...Bye Maan

Geet said the later part reluctantly

Maan smiled at her while blinking his eyes for acceptance.
