A true artist is the one who stands out in the crowd....Emon added only one variation to the song ie singing the Teri Deewani part on a high scale [Emon fans, pls dun bash me!!! I'm an Emon fan too!!] But Raja's version had so many variations but yet he sung it so well!! So my vote goes to Raja!!

Raja hands down. He did not make mistakes, he changed a few parts in the song. The mentors themselves have been giving 10 10 10 to other more mediocre performances, so I won't pay any attention to their comments. It was NOT as great as his PRIOR performances, but he was better than Emon.

I disagree, NO ONE can match Kailash Khair - the range of emotions that the man brings into the song is AMAZING.

Its surprising to see Raja so near Emon on the II forum.

But let me tell you that Raja is a folk singer and Teri Deewani is his kind of song so its understandable that he sang it well.

as Anu Malik said, Emon is a born playback singer who can sing for heroes in bollywood. So despite being more experienced and trained, Raja can only sing selected songs in bollywodd much like Fateh Ali Khan and other singers. Its really unfair to compare Emon to Raja... they are different singers.

I think Raja should only be compared with Amanat and Musarat of SRGM and Toshi on SVOI because they are all folk singers with similar sur/taal/voices.

That said Emon was really really good in Teri Deewani and took me by complete surprise. That shows how strong and complete a singer he is. The only place where Amit beats Emon is the voice quality because Amit definitely has the best voice (suited for bollywood) in all Indian Idols combined uptil now.
