Sorry guys for so late a reply guys.I was being held up by my semester exams but thought I would just drop in a final goodbye to the TP forum.
Tumhari Pakhi was the most beautiful show I have seen in a very long time. Although the basic storyline wasn't really pathbreaking, yet the amazing presentation and execution made the show remarkable. There were no OTT scenes and no melodramatic dialogues.Everything was just so subtle and life like and therefore stupendous. All the cast and crew members had put in a lot of hard work and it showed on screen.Everybody was just fit for their roles. I always knew Iqbal to be a fantastic actor and one of the major reason I watched this show was him but Shraddha is a new find for me. The girl is just fabulous. Together Iqbal, Shraddha and our little Divyam did wonders. Sachin Shroff and Rukhsar Rehman too did their best in supporting roles.
TP is one of those very few shows that left a mark on me and will always remain close to my heart. Ankhi is one of the most wonderful pair and will go down as one in the history of Indian television. I will always remember those beautiful moments and everything related to the show. It was a remarkable journey. (We can try to forget about the few idiotic glitches which are anyway an inseparable part of Indian shows. I realized I've forgotten that something/someone besides Ankhi even existed 😉)
@trina.Roy and @ravluvsarun hey girls I did watch ADHY for a few weeks.Though I do agree that Sonali Bendre and Apurva Agnihotri are doing a good job ( Apurva's character is very interesting), it is Shobha's nosy and 'Jo bhi hai jaisa bhi hai mera pati mera pati hai' attitude that put me off. I've always had issues with Hindi soap heroines and guess Pakhi has spoiled me even further. She is of the miniscule percentage who didn't get on my nerves. Nevertheless, each to his own.
BTW I'm into a lot of Pakistani shows these days on Zindagi. They are very subtly executed and do not drag on like tasteless chewing gum. You must check them out. Besides, Life OK too has come up with some intriguing shows. Pukar and Mahakumbh have an unconventional storyline. Ranvijay and Gautam Rode know their craft and all in all these shows offer a good package.
As for Iqbal fans, I guess KKK forum is going to be our new abode. Hope to see you all around and thank you for bearing with my rants.
