Let's reminisce the moment we started loving our favourite contestants and the qualities we like about them.
For me the most lovable person in the house was Praneet. There were many moments in the show that made me fall for this guy.
- The Hijack Task: I saw the way he wiped chilli off Natasha's face. His gentleness and care for a fellow team member was the first quality that caught my attention.
- His discussion with Minisha: about the whole taking a stand' thing when Karishma had tried to pull off the woman card in the initial weeks. "Stand can be taken while sitting also" were his words. That was the moment I realised he is not only a gentleman but he is sensible as well.
- Good friend: He tried to give advice to Gautam that he may be getting a little too negative about other contestants and he should also try to change his attitude towards them. He wasn't being righteous for giving "gyaan", he was being a friend. When a person gives you advice he only means good for you. Now, I understand Gautam must have felt bad at that time( I know this because a friend called me negative once, and it didn't feel good. I got mad at her. But later I realised I needed to bring a change in my attitude and was very grateful she called me that) But here he didn't even call him negative. He meant his attitude was negative, not him. Even Gautam's mother told him,"Sab ke saath miljul ke raho beta",when she came to meet him. That is what Praneet was trying to explain.
- Does not hold grudges: Ali fought with him, shouted at him, called him names. Praneet did the same. Yet they did not let it get in the way of whatever weird relationship they have. They laugh together and then again fight. When Puneet charged at Ali for disrespecting women (In the episode where Sonali slapped him) Praneet was the first person who took him away from Puneet to the bedroom.
- Similarly, when Puneet nominated him for eviction he did not mind. He still respected him. When Pritam did not give his name for captaincy, he did not mind.
- Respects women: In one of the initial weeks during nominations, he nominated Deepshikha and called her "Deepshikha ji". I know it's a very small/petty thing to notice but for me small things are very important. Small things show the character of a person. Then again during one of the nominations in which they had to smash faces with foam of the contestants they wanted to nominate, I noticed he nominated Soni and Minisha by smashing their faces but he also helped them wipe the foam off their faces with his hand almost immediately. Small thing but found it cute. He never talked bad about a girl except may be Nigaar. He did not like it when Ali made a bad comment on Sonali.
- His love for family: He loves his family very much. He was so hurt and had tears in his eyes when Puneet made that nasty comment that "nobody's dying". He understands the value of friends and family in life that is why he chose not to waste battery on other apps when he could not meet his girlfriend. He decided to save battery so that any other contestant can get a chance to meet their loved ones. Also, he could have chosen gossip app but he didn't. It showed he is above petty gossip.
- His love and loyalty toward girlfriend- Well, it's a quality a girl always likes in a guy.
- Morning Prayer: The first thing he does after waking up is pray. I like this habit of him.
However, some of his flaws that I don't like are his habit of smoking and laziness. But despite his flaws I love him and will always love him.
I wish him all the happiness in life.
So, these are the qualities that I love about Praneet. Please share the qualities of your loved contestants or the moments you started liking them. You don't necessarily have to mention them in great depth like I did. I'm just feeling a little bad because he got evicted today so I poured my heart out.
