Abhijit bids goodbye with his best

Abhijit was so good today, I was really feeling bad for him. God has given him such an amazing voice, lot many singers instead of excelling technically lack it. God bless him and may he get a good exposure.

Other than his performance today liked Zunaid and Raja's.

They did not show Mauli being given the watch here. Her performance was good today.

Sorry Pradarshak, I do not agree with you that he sang well.. He made a good attempt.. The feel was missing and in the higher notes, he could not have the pakkad and missed it especially in the word Praicy(sorry if my word is wrong) and also there are so many murkhiyaan in the song for which he could only attempt few.. He should have chosen a different song rather than this. I really miss Hemu this time.. What a performance he gave.

actually Anu yes he got the word wrong, but outside of SRGMP viewers it wont be a big deal, viewers here at SRGMP were very much enamoured by the rendition of the word "preyasi" by Hemachandra, whereas the feel for that song comes from the lines before and after the word and that note, if you let that word drive the feel, you will not feel the song

you cannot compare rendition of Hemachandra and Abhijit, Abhijit had about 1 1/2 minute to render the key parts, Hema had about 3 mins 45 sec, this song is to be sung on the Sat, not on a Friday at this stage

I hope you did not miss the heading of my post, it said "his best", I did not compare with him with Hemchandra or Hariharan. To me it was a very good attempt, from the very begining I am a fan of his voice if not singing. I would still say his voice quality is the best among all. Today it was quite satisfactory sur-wise too(I did not like his "chandare chandare" that much), felt bad seeing someone who deserve to be out still in.
