Salman Khan, accused in hit-and-run case, tweets against killing of innocents in Peshawar massacre

Actor and producer Salman Khan, has suddenly become active on social networking site Twitter. He took to the website to express his remorse over thePeshawar school children attacks on Twitter two days after the incident on Friday.
Salman did not stop at this. he vented out his anger by tweeting the following:
To save 1 innocent life is to save entire humanity , to kill 1 innocent life is like killing entire humanity .

While we appreciate the actor's concern over the dastardly attacks on school children in Pakistan, one can't help remember his own alleged brushes with crime in the past.
Hit-and-run case, 2002
In 2002, Salman Khan was involved in a hit-and-run case in Mumbai. The accident killed one, and injured three and Salman was arrested for negligent and rash driving. A chemical analyst also claimed in court that Salman was under the influence of alcohol when he allegedly ran into a bakery killing a person sleeping on the pavement. The case is still going on in the court with the eyewitnesses placing him behind the wheel. More than a decade after being invloved in the murder of an innocent, the actor on Friday calls 'killing innocent the most heinous crime.'
Violent behaviour with girlfriends
Salman Khan is infamous for his alleged violence against women who he is dating. After his much-hyped relationship with actress Aishwarya Rai went kaput, reports said that the reason behind the break up was his alleged violent behaviour. The actress was even once spotted wearing glasses in an award function to hide her injuries after allegedly being hit by Salman. Aishwarya Rai came out in public to say that Salman hasn't been able to move on from the break up and has been hounding her.
Not only Aishwarya, his last girlfriend Katrina Kaif said once in an interview that she left him because of his over-possessive and violent nature.
Blackbuck poaching case
A blackbucks poaching case was filed against Salman and his Hum Saath Saath Hai co-stars, Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Neelam and Sonali Bendre in 1998. The actors, while shooting for the film in Rajasthan, went out hunting and allegedly killed two blackbucks and several chinkaras. After seven years of court proceedings, Salman was sentenced to jail for one year with a fine of Rs 25,000 to have broken strict wildlife laws.
Salman Khan has been called 'The Bad Boy of Bollywood' by some people in the past, and well, going by the reports, rightly so. Agreed he has been involved in a lot of charity, especially for children, but what about his own alleged black past where he has committed violent acts?
