anandi's blouse

I normally don't comment on the clothes of soap characters but the blouse is an eye sore. Reminds me of the horrendous costume she was given during her kashmir trip.

The simple rule about clothing is keep it simple. Either make the jewllery the focus or the costume.

Here everything is overdone, Bling,frills, borders, patterns. They clash badly and make Anandi, who is quite pretty, look overblown and puffy.

No problem with long sleeves but her blouse has semi-shiny, transparent sleeves, frilly borders and patterns on the body, the combined effect of which is tacky.

I don't think BV makers have tried to find out how IAS officers and their families usually dress.

I'm not saying Anandi should drop the lehenga which is pretty enough, but please not the terrible embellishments.

By contrast Meenu and Ira dress beautifully, in elegant cotton sarees with tasteful jewellery. Even saanchi was given very nice cotton sarees for work. I wonder if they decide their own wardrobe because the BV stylist has no style.

Just when I though Anandi was finally being costumed properly,, they've gone and done this..

Initially when she just shifted to Udaipur they made changes in a very subtle but sure manner all the traditional bold colors and bright colors gave way to nice pastel shades which I thought were very nice.

Personally I don't mind whether she wears Gaghras or sarees but what ever she wears should suit her life style and she shouldn't change her style of dressing because she istrying to fit in or try to look like one of them but more suited to the kind of work she does and life she leads.

She looked very pretty during Gulli's wedding as well as Gehna's wedding where she did wera long sleeves and covered her head with Pallu. Doesn't matter whether she wears long sleeves or short but should be less gaudy

They need to do away with some of the jewelry and use less of shiny materials for dress.You either use shiny material in sombre shades or some simple material with work done on Gaghra and blouse

They shouldn't be using all together.

More than giving a makeover they should expand her wardrobe to include those occasional salwar kameez and sarees or use some fusion styles with good ol gaghras

Her hair style needs to change too. She can use the current hair style when she is at home or goes for work for other social occaions would be nice if it is left open curly or straight hair it

doesn't matter.

The actress can carry of a lot of things they can try a lot of stuff with her and experiment with her looks.

Aparna, she looked so lovely in that ballroom dance scene. She wasn't dressed for an occasion and it was spontaneous, yet the costume did not look out of place. If she had done the same dance in that shiny violet /green blouse she has lately been wearing, I think much of the impact would have been lost.

Why spoil that look by needless embellishments? I agree that it is not about lehenga or saree or long and short blouse. Whatever it is, should be elegant in keeping with her status as a career woman and IAS officer's wife.

I personally love handloom sarees. They are simple and yet suit all occasions. I really like the clothes and ornaments they give Ira. Anandi would look great giving a lecture in one of them -- and yes with her hair left loose.

Sigh!

Clothes may not define a person's characteristic but it plays huge role in putting impression...changing your attire to fit in crowd might not be the right thing but one must wear clothes looking at the occasion...how many girls or ladies go to colleges and workplace wearing such shiny dresses?...it gains unwanted attention...wearing normal suit salwar is not wrong or below the class of an rich IAS officer's wife...i wish Anandi had wore sarees like her teacherjee...they were so simple and sober...she really looks cheap in her shiny ghagras...like those uneducated insensible married women who thinks dressing up for their husband means perfect marriage!

Its absolute fakeness to show that an educated and sensible woman like Anandi feels comfortable with such dresses and she does not even create unwanted attention in her work place...whats wrong with CVs? Is it a crime to change Anandi's attire? Can't she once look sensible? Plz do tell me would Shiv have ever made an impression of a Collector and city man if he would have wore dhoti to his workplace everyday?...isn't there a dress code and style sensibility to be followed? If CVs wanted to pass messages to society then do it with basics...BV always target huge issues with super exceptional cases from which no one can learn anything...they always overlook small day-to-day details which creates huge difference in their storyline and presentation of a track...they don't realize their over the top sets, dresses and celebrations are major turn off an beyond irritating to viewers! From very start Shiv has always been suspended by CM even though he is an Central Govt.officer ! I'm glad they have shown little sensible track in KB and Anandi is speaking less this time...i am not surprised with AnSh's ways of handling DB...after sometime u get used to such stupidity from characters and u stop expecting new things ir smartness from them 🥱
