Feeling disappointed with CVs

Hello all :)

I've been reading posts/comments around the forum regarding Anu marrying Samrat. I must admit, this makes me feel disguisted.

I know that every show needs to progress/develop, hence new twists & turns in order to engage the audience. But as a loyal viewer who has been watching the show since the very first episode, I have serious reservations about this upcoming track.

I don't care what Anu's reasons are. Even if Anu wants to seek revenge from Samrat, let's not forget she will be marrying her sister's ex-husband who was extremely abusive towards her. He has threatened the entire family & tried to defame them & cause emotional distress at every available opportunity. Even if the marriage is a sham, why link your name with such a man? Mind boggling.

Also, Doli Armaano Ki has always revolved around Urmi & her shattered dreams at the hands of Samrat. Urmi & Samrat may not be romantically involved with each other but the story binds them together. So what I would have wanted to see is Urmi being the cause of Samrat's downfall, & no one else. Samrat is Urmi's culprit.

Another thought that's really disturbing me is the possibility of Anu-Samrat becoming an actual couple in the show & the thought is a troubling one. Desi Serials at times have showcased twisted notions of love & forgiveness. I would hate to see something happen between these two characters because it would be in BAD taste & it's something my delicate stomach won't digest.

I may be in the minority here but I wanted to share my thoughts. This marriage idea leaves me feeling rather disappointed with CVs.

Hey, haven't seen you comment in a while but great post.

I don't know what to say, except that I'm also disappointed in the cvs for going this route. Wasn't there any other way for them to have Anu seeking revenge on Samrat besides marriage? Why is the institution of marriage always made a mockery and watered down in these dramas?

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this show supposed to be a social awareness and social message show? Then tell me, what message is being shown here, is it that when your brother-in-law invades your privacy and like a peeping tom, makes a video of you in your bathroom, to seek revenge on him, you marry him?

Now that some hours have passed since I read the news about the leap and Anu and Sam's marriage I have this thought what if the CVS decide to show case Anu being angry because her sister married Ishaan after all she is in love/obsessed with him and decide to join hands with Samrat to seek revenge from Urmi and Ishaan. After all why would she marry and abuser/jerk like him her ex BIL it not like she is a dumbo like Radha she is suppose to be educated and knowledge about Sam and his crazy spineless family. Just my opinion 😃

Totally agree with this post.

This is not making it interesting. it is making it twisted.

Revenge or not - in a world of reason, Anu would never want to go anywhere near Samrat.

The real revenge would be to destroy Samrat's business empire - the one thing on which all his arrogance hinges,

Yes, You have a good point. Anu would be totally furious with Urmi. This part is reasonable.

But why would Anu join hands with someone who did so much damage to herself by making the MMS is not fathomable to me

Ok, lets say what you're saying is right, then Anu could've find another way to seek revenge on Urmi and Ishaan. By her marrying Samrat is just showing her immature mentality, she may think by doing so Urmi will be hurt and rightly so but she will be hurting herself more and doing a bigger disservice to herself than Samrat making that MMS of her.

Too bad, I was going to honor this show with the label of "DIFFERENT" . Cannot do that anymore.

Hoping that this talk of Anu marrying Samrat is rubbish . Hope they take a u-turn.

They got a 6 month extension.. Their logic is, create as much 'drama' as possible to keep the audiences 'engaged' so the show stays on. Don't know why, to make a plant grow faster their logic is always to add ton of water.. Rather than go the natural way of helping the plant grow. Everything has it's own pace, and if logic isn't used properly, then audience isn't also going to be around for long. Once the plant starts go bad, that's when they rush to do 'damage control' -__- typical with all desi shows. Sadly! Sigh.

I think that maybe she marries Samrat to help get back Shauryas custody.

If indeed Samrat manages to win the case. She maybe ha a plan to marry him and legally adopt Shaurya as her son and then win his custody back to help Urmi.

Or maybe she marries Samrat to ensure that Shaurya has a proper upbringing and that she can atleast let Urmi meet him on the sly maybe and give her news on Shaurya
