Veera and Baldev sat together on the bed in the morning, holding
hands, Veera's head resting on his shoulder.
Baldev; tu ab menu chad ke kabhi nahi jayegi na?
Veera; nahi, par Baldev mainu abhi bhi bohot dar lagta he
Baldev; Veera tu apne dar ka kaaran to bta aakhir gal ki hai, esa
konsa dar tha jisne tenu mujhse door kardiya, jis ki waja se mere
sheru se tune mujhe door rakha, mainu pata he, e koi maamooli gal
to hogi nhi, bta na Veera aakhir wja kya thi
Veera; Baldev...main...teri jaan ko khatra tha..
Baldev was shocked
~~~~~~~"FLASHBACK"~~~~~~~
VeeBa were still staying at the hotel, they went to the court to
register their marriage but the court was very busy and they didn't
get their turn. They were returning from the court and stopped at a
dhabba for breakfast. Veera was not wearing the sindoor or
mangalsutr, she wanted to announce their wedding before looking
like a bride in public. Baldev went to wash hands, and it was then
when some guys came to him.
Guy1; kyun bhai surpunch sahab, wade maze aa rhe hen
Baldev; oye tu apni auqaat me reh
Guy2; oye hoye kudi to wadi changi ghumma rahe ho surpunch jee
Baldev lost his cool, he took a glass and brooke it over that guys
head, a fight broke out and Baldev started fighting with 10 people
who were trying to tease him. Baldev was as usual defeating them
with ease, one guy took out a knife and was trying to hit from
behind. Veera saw this and yelled ,"Baldev!!!" Baldev turned and
snatching the knife, he kicked that goon in his stomach. Baldev
defeated all of them and then he took Veera away.
Back at the hotel Veera was arguing with Baldev.
Veera; tenu zarurat kya hai superman banne ki?
Baldev; to kya karta? chup kr k unki bakwas sunta?
Veera; Baldev ignore kar deta, unke paas chaku tha, kuch hojata to?
Baldev; hua to nahi na, sher k saamne geedar nhi tik paate
Veera; Baldev tere ilawa ab mera is puri dunya main koi nahi, please
tu aise krna chad de, apna khayal rakh.
Baldev; acha acha ab tu jazbati mat ho.
Veera; main gurudware ho k aati hun
Baldev; main bhi chalta hun na
Veera; nhi tu ithe ruk.
Veera went to the gurudwara.
Veera; Rab jee please mere Baldev ki raksha karna, najane mera dil
inna kyun ghabra raha hai jabse wo chaku dekha he mene, uska
gussa shant karo Rabjee please.
Veera was returning when she heard baldev's name from nearby,
she hid behind a tree to listen out of curiosity, Bakhtwar and
surjeet sat together and laughed.
Bakhtawar; bas ik wari us Baldev ki shadi hojaye, to kanon k
mutabiq jab tak uske bache nhi hte tab tak uski voti hi uski jaydaat
ki waris hogi.
Surjeet; ik taraf uska vyah hoga aur duji taraf uthegi uski arthi,
shadi hte hi Baldev ka khoon hona pakka hai, aur phir uski widhwa
se mera puttar zabardasti vyah krlega, vyah kr k sari jayedaat le
lega us se.
Veera was shocked, she was unable to believe her ears, Baldev's life
was in danger, and that too because of her. If anyone at all came to
know of their marriage they would attack Baldev in an instance. She
looked back the gurudwara, so this was why God had shown her
the incidence that happened at the dhabba, this is why they were
unable to register their wedding, this is why she came alone. She
was scared and heartbroken. She heard surjeet and his people
celebrating. She knew how powerful they were, and no matter how
strong Baldev might be, he was alone and there was a reason she
got to know all this.
Veera went back to the hotel after composing herself.
Veera; Baldev, tu...tu pind ki hukumrani chad nhi skta, sari jayedaat
ka kuch kar nhi skta?
Baldev; Veera, ki hoya tu aise galan kyun kar rahi hai?
Veera; bol na
Baldev; inni mushqil se jo izzat haasil ki hai wo kese gawa dun
Veera
Veera; agar teri jaan ko khatra ho tab bhi nahi?
Baldev; jaan ka khatra to har Baadshah har neta ko hta he, to kya
wo sab apna kaam chad den.
Veera understood that he wouldn't listen, she hugged him tight,
tears in her eyes.
Veera; I love you Baldev
Baldev; i love u too kamli, ki hoya kya se kya kahe ja rhi he
Veera wiped her tears quickly
Veera; kuch nahi.
she kissed his forehead and then kissed him on his lips, and
through the kiss she tried to tell him how much love she had for
him. And they made love again.
In the morning, Veera kissed Baldev on his forehead and wrote a
note that said, "tujhe meri qasam jab tak main wapas nahi aati tu
hamari shadi ke baare main kisi ko nahi batayega. I love you Baldev,
ho sake to mainu maaf karedena, main majboor hun".
She kissed Baldev's cheek and taking his photo, she left the hotel.

After a week Veera was at friend Nirmala's house in chandigarh.
Nirmala; Veera tu police ko inform krde, they would take care of
them
Veera; police sirf meri baat par unhe arrest kregi bhi to saboot na
hone par chod degi, aur unka gang itna bada he wo kabhi bhi
Baldev pe hamla kr skte hen. Shayad hamari shadi hui isiliye thi,
kyunki ab Baldev kabhi kisi aur se shadi krega nhi, to wo secure
rahega
Veera's head started spinning all of a sudden, she felt dizzy.
Nirmala; kya hua Veera?
Veera; kuch nhi bas thode se chaqar aa rhe hen.
After two weeks Veera again changed the city, she went to another
friend of hers.
Preeti; Veera you are not well, tumhen bohot ultiyan ho rahi hen
let's visit the doctor.
Veera nodded. Preeti took her to the doctor who gave her the big
news.
Doctor; congratulations Mrs.Singh, you are pregnant.

Veera was over-joyed as she held her newly born son in her arms.
Veera; kitna pyara hai na ye didi, bilkul Baldev jesi shaqal hai iski
Chanchali; Veera, ab to tum wapas ja sakti ho
Veera; nahi didi, mene itne mahine sirf yehi socha, par...ab sirf
Baldev hi nahi par mere bete ki jaan par bhi ban ayegi main kese
inna wada khatra mol le sakti hun.

Baldev moved out of the bed in anger.
Baldev; tu pagal hai? tenu laga wo geedron ki foj menu maar degi
isiliye tu mun utha k chal di, aur 3 saal wahan chuppi rahi tera
dimag kahan he veera?
Veera; Baldev main bohot dar gai thi aur tera gussa, menu pta tha tu
kabhi kisi ki nahi sunega, wo sab Rabjee ka ishara tha, isiliye chali
gai main
Baldev; acha! to ab tenu konsa ishara mila jo tu wapas chali ayi
Veera; Gunjan didi ne mainu bataya tha ke surjeet singh aur
bakhtawar illegal kaam krne ki wja se jail jaa chuke hen, tab hi main
maani aane k liye
Baldev; tu esa kese kar skti hai Veera, siyasat me to hazaar
dushman bnte hi hen, to kya un sab ki biwiyan unhe chad k chali
jayen?
Veera; main esa nhi keh rahi Baldev? par tu bhi to samjh na, meri
zindagi main us waqt ek akela tu hi bacha tha, tenu khone ki
kalpana se hi meri rooh kaanp uthti hai
Baldev; to kyun gai mujhse door
Veera; main apna manhoos saya tujhpe nahi daalna chahti thi
Baldev yelled "Veera" and held her shoulders.
Baldev; khabardar jo tune phirse kabhi khud ko manhoos kaha to,
tu meri Veera hai mere sheru ki maa hai, tu manhoos nhi he,
manhoos to meri qismat hai, jo kabhi mainu khushi nhi milti, har
khushi qareeb a k door chali jati he
Tears developed in his eyes, Veera put a hand on his lips.
Veera; nahi, esa mat bol, ab..ab hum hamesha khush rahenge..koi
manhoosiyat nahi ayegi hamare beech
Baldev nodded and hugged her tightly. Bothe of them closed their
eyes and felt each other's warmth, and prayed to never loose each
other again.
