Kumkum Bhagya: Abhi stalls Pragya's wedding!

The maha episode from last week was indeed very melodramatic. The drama, however, is not over yet...

Ever since Pragya (Sriti Jha) signed the divorce papers without any alimony, Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) has been hell bent on getting her married. He fixed, planned, and organised his wife's wedding with her childhood friend Suresh (Faisal Rashid), but didn't really realise the gravity of his errors.

A helpless Pragya decides to commit suicide in order to escape marrying Suresh, but Abhi finds her in time and gets her back to the mandap. During the gattbandhan Abhi accidentally burns his hand and this worries Pragya who leaves her wedding to attend to him. Well Abhi still insists on getting Pragya and Suresh married.

However, during the ceremonies, Abhi gets a letter which has the proof of her innocence. Aaliya (Shikha Singh) and Tanu (Leena Jumani) run to snatch the letter and burn it to keep their brother from seeing the truth. However, Abhi still manages to see the proof before it is burned off.

On learning that Pragya was always innocent, Abhi breaks down. He is shocked to learn about Aaliya and Tanu's game plan and even more shattered at the treatment he dished out to his wife - the only one who truly loves him. Our sources tell that Abhi will finally learn the truth and there is no way this is a dream sequence; he will stop the wedding and beg for forgiveness. Will Pragya and her family forgive Abhi or not, remains to be seen.

So the final denouement depends on a letter from a stranger?

What kind of proof is that, I wonder. Besides, why would he believe a stranger and not the woman he's been married to?
