Blossoming feelings between the 2 youngsters. Whilst Akaash is more aware of his feelings towards Anjali the latter has not completely understood her attraction towards him. Anjali asking Sarita if she would have to get married straight away was just a subtle way of showing that she is falling for someone else and then she longingly looks at Akaash.
They still have a long way to go, it actually reminds me of their little reunion at the airport when they had to wait for the trolley's to go past before they could meet. Similarly, they have their own hurdles to face before a confession happens, probably closer to the climax of the show. Till then they can support each other to reach their goal.
The line in the precap wasn't just in regards to Everest but also their relationship.
