Curious about humsafar(novel)

Does Ashar get away as easily in the novel as he did in the show??

Has anybody read it? I have heard that the novel is different from the show..so if anybody has read it please enlighten me if the book was better than the show😊 I cannot read urdu..and i cant believe it that there is no english translation available..

P.S I loved humsafar btw...i have a thing for angsty love stories..😆

I don't think Asher got away easily.. he suffered and lived miserably for nearly 5 years. Khirad didn't exactly forgive Asher from how I saw it, she basically compromised for Hareem's sake. In the novel she also goes back, the apology scene however is different despite the same dialogues.

If you want to read english translation for the novel, check it out on dramapakistani.net, they're doing it in parts currently 😊

Yes..he did suffer...but i think there was scope for another episode..where asher is shown mending his relationship with khirad..

Had they known it would become what it did, I'm sure a lot could be added, taken out, and changed in Humsafar 😆

He did suffer.. The inner guilt never went away..

Also a relationship that had shattered so badly can never be the same again. He did try to make amends but i doubt Khirad could ever forget everything that happened to her. But yes for hareem's sake she forgave him and tried to mend their relationship

there are few things which were left for the viewers imagination.

Photo ...In novel Khirad has a pendant in which Asher,s picture was

2..Why Asher did not respond for 4-5 days and no reason was given . ...In novel ,he was in stupor phase where he was not sure if he really saw her ,when Hareem comes and hugs him then he realize .

I liked the part where it was given Asher,s thoughts when Khirad leaves his house . I read that part of novel but still its difficult to understand the words as are in Urdu , i think its only till that page where he meets Hareem in the hospital.
Novel starts when Khirad goes to his office .
