i think the production house couldn't get another payal for a show which will end soon so they must have convinced her to continue thus somewhere ensuring her significance and giving her a love track
as rishi didn't rape her so maybe cvs are planning to wrap up the show with 2 couples in the end

i know its weird that suddenly at this point of time they are showing like that but what else could be the reason of bringing this track where an accused rapist turns out to be innocent and now also helping her
