IshRaRu Os: A daughter is a reflection of God's love
She saw her fathers eyes that glistened with tears and were slowly making their way down his face. She could bare anything but not one tear from his eyes. He was everything to her and she loved him the most. When she looked around, all her family stood firm with their crest fallen. She knew what they were worried about. In fact she was sad, wanted to cry endlessly and drown herself in her own tears. Today she wanted to be strong and the next person she wanted to see was the angel of her life, Ishima. Her mother was no different. There was anger, insecurity, sadness, guilt. The anger which she had noticed in her mother's eyes only for her father, insecurity of loosing her, sadness and guilt that was the most visible emotion. She couldn't protect her daughter.
She was aware of the whole situation at home and all had acted very strong in front of her. She wanted to carry on with the act but also wanted to assure all that she was safe with them and there was no need to worry. Before she could streamline all of this in her mind, her mother ran out of the hall to her room. Her dad ran behind her mother as well. How much ever they fought or argued, they never let each other down during sad times. She prayed every single day for giving her such lovely parents. She hated her mother, Shagun all the more.
Ruhi Puttar, Tum ice cream khalo mein aathi hoon and she found all others also slowly moving back from the dining table. She stopped her dadi, Aap Ishima ke pass jarahiho na ? Mein unke pass jaon aur sab teek karunghi. Her grandmother stoked her head lovingly and kissed her forehead. She tiptoed in to her room to find her mother tightly holding on to her pillow and sobbing uncontrollably. Her father dared not opened his mouth knowing it was the impact of his short temper. Mihir chachu could not control either.
Ishima, Why are you crying ?? She just held on to her daughter tightly and did not want even air to separate her from her angel. She was a god sent angel that filled her heart with love again. She carried names like Bhaanj, infertile, manhoos, etc it was this Ruhi that filled her heart, mind and soul. Ruhi, helped her to face the world with courage all over again, She could have her head held up high in the society which never missed out on a single chance to ridicule about her incapability to conceive. It was this Ruhi who gifted her a man of great qualities. She never told him directly but today she was living her dream life and that was because of her daughter. The whole legal notice shook her completely and made her to face reality again. What was she going to do if she looses the custody ? She felt her husband's manly hands on her head again. She wanted to feel his touch for one last time. She did not know if she would survive, if she lost her Ru in the custody battle.
Ishima, Aap papa pe gussa ho ? She did not know what to reply but just maintained a straight face. Ruhi, wiped the tears off her mother's face with her tiny hands and smiled at her. Papa ki galthi nahi hai Ishima. Shagun mama, Suraj uncle and few others at school spoke bad about Mihika Chithi. Papa even told Mihir chachu to be calm, but they spoke very badly. Issiliye papa ne un logon ke sath argue kiya. Phir Shagun mama ne aapke aur Mihika chithi ki bhaare mein bhi bahut bura kaha. Then the judge aunty noticed all this. I took a promise from papa to solve all of this between Mihir Chachu and Mihika chithi. Papa aapse bahut pyaar kartha hai, Ishima. I even know that you and papa will not let anything happen to me. If this time the judge asks me any question I will answer her boldly. I know the truth. The parents were in awe at the angel in front of them.
The lost father just looked towards the ceiling and mouthed a silent thank you for sending Ruhi to them. He started to think about the days when he used to avoid her just because of the mole on top of her lips, He had doubted her parental ancestry. His anger and frustration towards his son or whomever were all directed towards this angel for years together. He hated himself right now. He wanted to win the custody not for him but for his wife who had returned his daughter to him back. He felt he deserved this kind of a punishment. Had it not been for Ruhi, he would have never been able to live his life all over again after Shagun had left him behind lifeless after snatching his son from him. It was Ishitha whom his daughter chose out of all the people. Seeing his wife broke, due to his insensitivity made his resolve stronger to move far away from them. If these two people stayed happy, he was sure he could win the world and if that came at a cost of staying far away from them yes he will. Tears ran down his eyes and it was again his little daughter who came to his rescue. She asked him to kneel down near her
Papa, Aap bhi ro rahiho ? Uffo papa.. Boys don't cry and she again wiped his tears. You did not do any wrong. Why do you cry then. Ishima aapse gussa nahi hai, haina Ishima. She looked at her mother with a cute puppy face and who could resist. Ishitha nodded positive. He wiped his tears when he found a small smile erupt from both of their faces. He found his wife's hand approaching his face to wipe his tears. He could not ask for more. Ishitha, I won't let anyone snatch Ruhi from anyone, not even from me. Its a promise. A huge block formed in her throat to hear him speak such words. She raised her palm towards his mouth and closed before he could talk any further and their eyes locked a few minutes. It was Ruhi's time to witness the love her parents had for each other. She gently shook them both from their stance and the parents looked at their daughter embarrassed. She further signalled both of them together to move forwards and kissed both their cheeks and in turn received her share of kisses from both. The three then shared a bear hug and were ready to face the storm which was waiting for them together.
