Ours is a very secular society and a very educated one too and we as common people live peacefully together, Most important ours is largest democracy ,So people have freedom of expression either in print media or in entertainment industry too .

There is no such reason behind the show's debacle as you think.This is all EK ' style of spoiling all her popular shows by taking leaps.

Thank you for ur post which is exactly what I feel happening. It's plain simple that due to some Conspiracy this high rated, popular show has been suddenly butchered. It's bad luck that JA is airing at the wrong time now n it's end is near. Show can't run for long on salim anar or noorjahan tracks with old akdha as side characters. Even if parijat play salim or anar/noor but the show can't pull it's earlier trps or viewers.😭

If it's a conspiracy...its not a political one at least. The issue is EK and her audience, most trp audience doesn't want a history discourse they want only SaaS bahu drama, and ph like balaji, and channel like zee don't believe in taking chances, all said and done Akbar has been presented in a very positive light, just that shoes with a non sbs agenda are not money spinners...look at MP the show probably has more investment in ir than JA and follows a political/ non sbs storyline but doesn't rake in the numbers.

Am sure if ek was to make a serial on Mahatma Gandhi she will turn that into a love story and saas bahu drama with will start in south Africa and non violence moment show in voice over, and will end with indta Gandhi's love story.

India in addition to being a secular country is also a country with a "who gives a damn" attitude...politicians don't needs to resort to underhanded character assassination of Akbar, simply ciz frankly now no one cares, and those who do aren't the vote bank!

The theme of d show is "EPIC LUV STORY B/W A MUGHAL EMPEROR AKBAR N FIERY RAJPUT PRINCESS JODHA".y can't they abide by d theme and create some realky gud jodha jalal tracks..be it personal,political etc!

We have seen when d story was made 4 jodha n akbar..n they were d center of attraction.. Trps were @ d peak!

Same here yaar ...so many gud jodhajalal tracks can be creayed be it in agra or away from agra..!Feeling sad n cheated!

Before this leap news was that chikd actor who plays Murad has been signes in for 3 months. Another leap can't happen so soon.

Firatly It's a history show san any history only saas bahu politucs goes on and secondly they dinot show anything sensibke. No greatness of Akbar..no war..no facts.
