tru, u shouldnt make differences between a boy child n a girl child

This kind of stuff happens in India... In America, the two genders are treated very much equally. However, one thing that annoys me is that at age 18, boys have to sign up for the army (What I mean is, if the army needed to draft some people, the person who signed up would be one of them), while girls have a choice on whether they want to or not. I don't think that's fair,because the US Bill of Rights makes everybody equal... SO why is this not equal?

no thats not true in china, in part of china which are very crowed LIKE big cities people are allowed only ONE child, and many people abort female fetuses becuase they might want a boy and can only have one kid. some people in some areas are allowed more then on kid, if u have a extra kids when ur not allowed to then i think u face BIG fines. china did this to control there population and it has worked.

please look up more information on the subject on google or wikipedia, just type in china's one child policy.

yep thi sis a problem but more in india but in canada its likt okay they don't care that much they are happy with what they get

i think it depends on where you live...if you live in a MEDC (More economiccaly devaloped country) then being girl or boy doesn't matter becoz they both are given equal opportunities but in LEDC (LESS economiccaly devaloped country)then it does matter because they boys are given more rights as its a fact that they have bettr physical strengh and can take care of the house hold, whereas a women should be clening and taking care of kids which i don't agree wid at all.

also some people believe that women shouldn't be given much freedom because they could end up getting raped coz there wasn't a man there to protect her...Therefore its the womens fault not the mans
