The leap...it makes u wonder why EK would want a leap at the point in JA story, when, after almost a year of waiting, the JJ love story had just begun...we have all seen the quality of romance 🤢 in our show...I still remember how the PH kept propagating the promises of an out of this world SR in all possible newspapers..😆...never seen before, etc etc...I for one liked it, but one has to admit that it lacked the steam of the 16th Dec episode...it was sweet, n nice. ...but PS went on record to say that she needed a body double to shoot it 😕...I mean, seriously????

I have zero hesitation in putting the majority part of the blame of zero romance in JA on the female lead...she openly acknowledged her discomfort in romantic scenes, which we had also seen..remember the "aerial cheek kiss" which was shot from behind...😆...as also the hugs with a one foot distance...all we got to see between the leads were lep, lap & lori scenes 🥱

...without romance, the makers were forced to show pathetic tracks...prime example being the Khybu track...it was obviously EK'S Distrust in her current cast to carry the show forward, after MA'S exit...so leap seemed to be the logical step for the makers...unless...unless some other drastic measures were taken to save the show...

I for one would have preferred a replacement rather than a leap with new characters...it would have taken some time for the audience to adjust, but acc to me, that's as much a risk as a leap, with the former having better chances of survival than the latter...

I mean, who would be interested in a Salim Anarkali romance in a show called Jodha Akbar????..I dont think I am...EK, should have definitely thought of a replacement rather than a leap...how can any hero be bigger than RT?????...thats my worry

What say friends???? 😉...how I wish someone could make JA for Epic channel with RT n take us on a roller coaster ride?????😉

khushi, i too agree that due to PS's limitations in romance the show has taken the leap otherwise what would they show if not romance!

JA has lost its charm. I don't think it can sustain even the loyal viewers of Jalal or RT for long. Since I've started watching JA, I've never skipped an episode even when we had get to gathers or other events and for the first time I went to bed on Friday without watching the show. How I wish they had shown a beautiful romantic(????) love story between JJ and in parallel, equally beautiful friendship between Jalal and Ruq. But no, the non-creative CVs have ruined everything😡. And the JJ scenes no longer interest me and they are utterly boring. In fact, I don't want to see them in one frame (Oops, I hope I'm on the right thread)😆 . I wish RT quits the show for his and our sake and hope he gets a great project very soon and pray for the same too. Sorry for my rant😕.

Good morning friends - Even at an emotional level the love story was not engaging, vibrant or captivating. As I have said before, I have not found one reason from Jalal's side for this EPIC love for a woman who is so self-centered.

Sizzling Chemistry - We are done with it. Beaten down to death.

I am not for Physical stuff in every episode - Have you all seen Mrs & Mr Iyer movie ? When Rahul bose talks about chidambaram temple lighting in a small restaurant to a group of college girls, you see the expressions change in Konkana's face. This is falling in love.

Have you ever seen such an expression on PS's Jodha face ? Not the character and PS is capable of pulling it off. She is so FULL Of herself, ameri clan, Rajput pride and sanskaarism , she repels me these days.

obviously chemistry is not all about physicality, its about tht feeling. in PRC u can see it. i remember one interview from filmstar kajol. she said tht its not gud chemistry or bad chemistry its all about gud acting & bad acting.😊
