Hmmm.....so a person who can't sing, is giving consistent 'performances' of dance and mocking routines, that's what I see. That is her strength. Definitely a rock singer is maybe her forte, then come to think of it Suhit Gosain was much better than her. I guess many of you teeny boppers love her.

The same thing happens here in American Idol. The Ankita affection is the same one we saw for Sanjaya Malakar not too long ago. Usually the less talented ppl get the publicity initially, but the final two are always good singers.

I wouldn't doubt that Ankita is being used by Sony to create some 'nautanki' style 'masti' to add flavor to the show. This is pure marketing, and for 'janta' to buy into such, its very easy, especially the young folk. It's good that such people have fans, it probably gives them hope in the future in improving and getting into something good in life.
