Rakhi sees red at exclusion of bedroom scenes in promo By MovieTalkies.com, 30 July 2007 |
Rakhi Sawant is very upset with producer-director Rahul Rawail. And the reason for her anger is the apparent exclusion of the bedroom scenes featuring her in 'Buddha Mil Gaya' from the film's promos. Rawail, on the other hand is not sure how he should react. He cannot get over the fact that the actress is upset that he has excluded a scene featuring her seducing the protagonist into bed. This is first that he has come across an actress who wants her bedroom antics on screen to be used as promo material. But Rawail has his own reasons for not using that particular sequence for the publicity of his film. He doesn't want his film to be seen as a 'sex' film. That's not the image that he wants to project for 'Buddha Mil Gaya', which he terms as a black comedy. The story revolves around the death of a rich man played by Anupam Kher. It tells of how the death of a rich man brings out the greed in his family. Actor Om Puri plays an inhouse swami, Paresh Rawal, the faithful domestic and Ranvir Shorey plays a dealer in dead bodies. |
