Both are.. how can we judge which is a bigger crime.
Both involve humans who get violated/hurt unexpectedly. Both bring trauma to the victims as well as their beloved. Both involve a 'human' violating another innocent human.
One may say rape is more traumatic, yes, it is traumatic and the kind of trauma a woman goes through is known perhaps only to her, but I'd say victims of terrorist attacks too undergo a trauma of their own kind - really, the trauma differs from person to person.. it's too subjective and one cannot decide the harshness/cruelty of a crime on this basis. When a loved one is taken away or when your own body is mutilated as a result of a terrorist attack, it's no less than a rape for you, in your trauma. There is no comparision between the two I'd say. Both will have you haunted by trauma/paranoia for days after the incident.
A crime is a crime. Ofcourse, what matters is how the government safeguards the people, and how the perpetrators are punished.
Only difference is terrorism kills/injures many in one instance. Rapes happen in many places at one moment.

when the woman is raped her life will become more worse than hell as compare to terrorism victims the rape victim sufferd very brutally both mentally and physically her self confidence would be killed brutually because she is physically tortured eape leads to suscide or even can make awoman mad forever but if a person is victim by terrorist he/she wont lost his/her selfconfidence brutally as compared to rape victims . Wounds given by Terrorism can be ehealed but wounds given by rape cant be easily healed . Rape kills the victim everyday but terrorism kills a humans one time .

Man you are touching a sensitive topic.i will go with Rape.

Both comes under the criminal cases and both should be punished.

There are many types of terrorism,In 18th century when the Indian war of Independence were declared by the people against East India Company. The company declared patriotic leaders as terrorist nd hung them still these things happen in every society and states.Wish Indian govt takes proper steps to tackle this situation.

Violating a Man/ Woman's rights is a big crime and its a considered as a bigger crime from every centuries/decades.

One cannot generalise like that :) ...see, if the trauma of a person could be measured by the problems/experiences... the world would've been a much happier place. 😆 (I say that in general.)
Response to a particular crime is different for different victims and the people assocoiated with the victims.
Ever heard of people getting heart attack and dying upon hearing the news of the death of their spouse or just going into shock?? If I was a survival of a terrorist attack and was left handicapped, I too would go into depression and think that my destiny had raped me. There are so many survivors/victims' beloved who slip into depression, paranoia and face other psychological effects.
Point I am trying to say is... crime is a crime, act of committing can be brutal. And the psychological effect on the victim is only left to our imagination.
There are girls who when once teased will change their entire wardrobe ~ on the other hand there are rape victims, that bounce back stronger. With mind and emotions, you cannot say anything, differs hugely.
Thus, weighing a crime on a case-to-case basis is possible, but one cannot do that in general.

Isnt a terrorist attack violative of a man's right? 😕 If people were unharmed in all the terrorist attacks, I dont think terrorism would've been an issue at all.

Rape and terrorism are two different things, Terrorist: somebody using violence for political purposes
but a Rapist: somebody using violence for personal purposes..killing innocents makes u a terrorist no matter who u r and no matter how honorable ur cause is...Current scenario we can see different place,'One Countries Terrorist can be another Countries freedom fighter' but rapist always a rapist.😊

@red -- Another country's freedom fighter? Kuch hua India mein? 😆 Terrorism has been nagging at our country since like forever.
Anything that involves harming the fellow human beings is a crime, whether it's for a cause or not. What value has a purpose got which involves harming another innocent living creature.
People engaging in such acts do not know any purposes, if they had had that much sanity to think, they wouldnt have to resort to inhumane acts and the world would've been a peaceful place.

I don't really like comparing terrible crimes. Can we really make an hierarchy of evil? Can we really set a value to human trauma to see which is greater?

both the crimes are big in itself.
raping a girl is misusing the freedom which a person has got by harming the other.physical scars may heal but mental and emotional scars may never heal. a few men do it for their own pleasure but that ends up destroying the life of the girl and disturbs the other people surrounding her too.

whereas terrorism is the use of violence which intends to create fear and panic among a group of people which is usualy for political aims. this crime is also big in itself. it destroys so many lives and also destroys property.it creates fear in the minds of the people and freedom merely goes down to being just a word.it destroys peace and balance of the place .

both these crimes are not bigger than the other . they are equally big , harsh and cruel in itself.
