Watching Samrat's expressions both in court and in the precap when he learns he has killed his own child made me feel a tad sorry for the evil guy. Why does SamRat allow Urmi to get beneath his skin this way? Is he totally evil and without compassion? Past behavior points that a way but why then does he feel remorse that he has killed his unborn baby? What is Samrat's obsession with Urmi? That she got away? Got the better of him? Why is he being an idiot and transferring his monies to his greedy mother? He would have been better off transferring his assets to his dad. What a fool.

Hi there :)

I have yet to watch the episode but from what I've read...if Samrat has shown sadness over his unborn child then I guess the CVs are trying to show us that somewhere deep DEEP down...Samrat has a little bit of humanity left in him. But that doesn't excuse whatever he has done. Not at all.

As for why he is like this with Urmi - I think there are many reasons. Samrat is a control freak...wanted to dictate his wife & make her live on his terms. He loved it when he was Urmi's world. That's why he couldn't handle her being indifferent towards him, hence faked his remorse. But when she finallly left him...his ego couldn't handle it.
So that's why we now have an obsessed Samrat. But I'm unable to understand his actions of the past & the sadness for his child.

So I really don't know which way to vote in the poll 😆

SamRat deserves way more grief. This is not even a top of iceberg. The grief he has given to many people and worse to Urmi (remember the beating?) deserves him to rot in hell. I will never feel sorry for him, no matter how much he suffers

Thanks for the response :) I thought that too that the CVs want to show a teeny weeny bit of humanity in the man. But let's wait and see if it continues or if it is just a flash in the pan.
Loved your analysis of the man.

Yes, that beating was horrible. He was a beast. But today he showed a tiny bit of remorse and Urmi seemed to think that his crime of killing his unborn child would haunt him forever.

Did Samrat feel sorry for making Urmi's life a living hell? Did he feel sorry for beating her black and blue? Did he feel sorry for killing that innocent baby while in its mother's womb? Did he feel sorry for scaring Urmi in the hospital when he was telling her about Shaurya? Sorry for him? Samrat is getting what he deserves. He can't expect to want to be ruining people's lives and not pay a price for it. He sowed the wind so he will definitely reap the whirlwind. Killing that baby will haunt him, even in his sleep.

You know what, that bright idea to kill the baby came from mommy dearest, she planted the seed in his mind about woman having miscarriages at that month and Mr. man got the brilliant idea to do what he did. I don't feel sorry for him at all. My sympathise are with Urmi, for having a husband like him and with Shaurya, for having a father like him.

I still felt bad for him when he sank to his knees outside the court. But then I guess a leopard cannot change its spots, he was back to being his conniving self when he asked Ishaan to drop Urmi's case.

And what is up with Radha watching him from above? Such an unnecessary addition to the show at this point.

His remorse doesn't match with his character. His interest in Shaurya is only to hurt urmi so why is he sad for an unborn baby.

He is the modern day Kans + Ravan + Devil + all the demons in one. The guy does not have an ounce of sincerity and compassion. Even hell will be getting away with murder for him. The way he treats his father, how can you expect him to respect anyone else.
