If I had to choose who has better looks I would choose SIDM, if I had to choose who can act better and is truly more talented, I would pick Varun no doubt in that. Despite of this fact do you think Badlapur will make it as big as Ek Villain? Both explore darker roles in the movie. What do you have to say about the comparison, because it is naturally going to come up.

Might get more critical acclaim, but won't do 100 cr. EV had chartbuster music and Ritesh surprised everyone in the trailer. It'd be hard to create that kind of buzz.

I loved EV. If it is as good as EV,i will be happy for VD.

I want him to get critical acclaim,hit or flop idaf.

yes i think so maybe not in terms of box office but appreciation and critics...ek villain was mostly appreciated for music and ritesh...i think the story is gonna be the winner for badlapur

They might be the same or it might do more. 1 thing EV promos and the songs where amazing bt after watching it really pathetic movie. The teaser of badlapur is better and more darker than the whole of EV(my opinion it was an absolute waste of my time I wnt watch that crap if varun came after me with a hammer lol). Bt really a very solid, solid performance by varun and his cast from the tease. And looks wise varun from the posters looks like a monster but a hot monster lol. And unfortunately this comparison is gona come up coz they both started at the same time and in the same film so even though I dnt want to compare them its natural
