yeah, not only her parents but also her inlaws.

I want Samrat to cry, hugely!

Well, what can we expect from the in-laws? Remember they too let their son throw their own pregnant daughter out of the house, alone, helpless, with nowhere to go to... I was appalled to see Samrat's dad do absolutely NOTHING when Samrat threw his sister out and she kept wailing - "papa..". Both Urmi and Samrat's dads are a big kaala dhabba on the name of "father".

So when they didn't do anything for their own daughter, what would they do for a daughter-in-law?

@Bold: That scene was sickening to see. I couldn't understand how the man could just stand there like a bystander and comfortably watch what was taking place. He just stood there like a dumb dumb while Aditi was being mistreated and the mother, she is no less. All these people in Rathore household are selfish, all are only thinking about themselves. They don't want to go against Samrat because they very well know that would result in them being thrown out of the house, so you know what, they will excuse, agree and comply with whatever Samrat does or say just to have a roof over their heads and to live in comfort. I really hope that Aditi finds where Urmi is living and she gets to stay there, with the permission of Sushma and Tiwari-ji.

I keep thinking and wondering if there are really people in the world who think and act like Samrat's parents and Urmi's father and grandmother.

If Samrat's parents were decent folk, perhaps he wouldn't be as bad as he is today. We all know that Shashi is vile. But papa is also to be blamed. His silence & doormat approach is pathetic. Can't believe they allowed their son to behave like that with his own sister. They should all hang their heads in shame!

So I agree with u...parents that can't take the right stand for their own daughter, can't be expected to do anything for their daughter in-law.

Even I was thinking that Aditi might seek refuge with Urmi...would be interesting scenario because if we think about it, Aditi too has suffered abuse at the hands of Samrat.

But yes..what kind of family is this? Bunch of spineless individuals who don't have the guts to speak up infront of Samrat. They fear being thrown out - pathetic! Don't know how they can live with themselves. They should all join forces & teach Samrat a lesson. But nope. They only take care of their own interest.

@bold: sadly I have heard about such people. Not to the same extent but I have heard personal accounts of other people who get no support from family, & are told that their choices are wrong & that the husband is right. Very unfortunate. Some people are so cruel...no fear of God or karma.

Urmi's in-laws are disguisting! Shashi is nasty...& that's putting it mildly. The father in-law is spineless & can never take a stand.

But parents that can't help their own daughter won't do it for anyone.
