Happy birthday Fawad Khan: Photos from the Pakistani actor's younger days that you may not have seen before

Long before his designer stubble and impeccable suits, Fawad Afzal Khan was very much the guy next door.

Referred to as the sexiest Pakistani import in Bollywood, Fawad stole our hearts as Zaroon in 'Zindagi Gulzar Hai' and he's had us hooked ever since.

Fawad, who made his Bollywood debut with 'Khoobsurat', is familiar with the impact his looks have left on his female supporters.

Fawad Afzal Khan is Pakistan's highest paid actor and one of the most good looking men in the glamour industry.

Fawad made his screen debut at the age of 19 in the serial 'Jutt and Bond', aired on Indus Vision. He played the role of Bumbling spy boy, which also starred his friend and co-band member, Ahmed Ali Butt.

The actor got married to his chilhood crush Sadaf Fawad in the year 2005. Fawad is blessed with a son Ayaan Khan.

Fawad was a model and singer before he took up acting. He began his modelling career at the age of 13. Khan was also seen in many commercials after that.

Fawad Khan says about his fan following in India, "What do I say? I'm really flattered. It is amazing. I feel grateful, surprised and also speechless by how things are unfolding for me. I like the warm reception I have received in India."

Fawad began his singing career with Pakistani rock band Entity Paradigm as the frontman. Khan released his first album Irtiqa in 2003, which earned wide critical recognition.

Born in 1981 at Lahore, Fawad spent his early life in Greece, Saudi Arabia and United Kingdom, and returned to Pakistan when he was 12.
