Quality of EHT

I feel like the quality of Ek Haseena Thi has dropped so much since the launch of the show. The whole show, in my opinion, is a mess.

I try to watch the show from a positive point of view and try really hard not to complain. But lately, I've just been so fed up with it. I realize that the show is ending and they are trying to end it but they should at least put some effort into it.

For example:

1) The characters:

What happened to them?? The only person, in my opinion, that has constantly proven herself as a strong character in the show is Sakshi. I feel like she just keeps getting smarter and everyone else just keeps getting dumber.

Druga started off as a smart cunning character, and now, she's losing it. I really admired her strong, independent attitude and her drive for justice. Other than exposing Karan to Kangana, she hasn't really had a big victory yet. The last victory she had was handicapping Shaurya.

Dev. DEEVVV. Honestly, I think he's cute and his acting is improving; it is. But I hate hate hate hhhaaatteee, the fact that he's obsessed with Nitya. Please STOP! I know you love her, but STOP announcing your love to her every 5minutes. We understand. I also think Durga should just confess she's Nitya. He hasn't spilled that he knows Durga is Nitya yet, so that should give him some brownie points.

Shaurya. He's as annoying as ever. I guess he also maintained his character. Rajnath became more evil than I imagined since the show started. So he improved.

Dayal went from being driven and supportive to #TeamDev. I understand that he wanted Durga to be happy, but that does not necessarily mean he should forget about the mission at hand.

Kangana, Karan, Rishi, and the other dude whos name I don't remember... are basically the same. Kangana just knows the truth now. Payal is recovering, her character didn't really change much either. Suchitra got more fierce, in comparison to before.

All in all, the villians are getting smarter and the heros are getting dumber.

2) The Story (The big picture)

What is the show even about now? Is the story about the injustice against Payal? Is it about Durga's revenge on Sakshi? Is it about Shaurya's path to becoming the ultimate monster? Is is about Nitya and Dev's love? Is it about Family? Is it about corruption? What is it about?

The story itself is losing focus. Durga is trying to get justice for Payal but what is she actually doing to expose Shaurya and his 'friends'? It's like she's fighting against Sakshi just to determine who is the smarter out of the two.

There is just too much going on.

3) The writers

Please tell me who is writing the scenes. I feel like whoever they are, they have already given up on the show. Not only are they showing loopholes, on loopholes, on more loopholes but they are treating the viewers like idiots.

Todays locker scene. That was ridiculous. Yesterday's rishi scene. THAT was ridiculous. The fact that Shaurya just magically was able to get back on his feet was ridiculous. The lack of security the individuals in this show has is appalling. Whoever is writing this show either themselves do not know how the world works, or is assuming that the audience is uneducated and will not realize how disastrous the logic is.

I understand the show is going off air, but at least put some effort into ending it off with a bang. There are 3 weeks left. Make me believe in this show again. It's frusterating because this show had SO MUCH potential. There was so much that could have been done with the story line to please everyone. You don't need to please just the teens, or the aunties. Collectively, everyone can be pleased! Show a fast paced suspense and make Durga trip into Devs arms; a 5 min eyelock would please the aunties every so often.

I wish IF collectively could just write a flipping show. TRPs are important, but they aren't everything. Entertain the audience, and don't treat us like fools!
