@Anu I feel it is a marketing gimmick. You see take a different genre run it and then say see we have propagated nayi soch. Even SMJ I feel is one of their so called marketing CSR initiative. Now see MB. MB was a finite series. It became hit and SP got all the credit. Now EHT. If you look EHT is a hit in real sense. We all know that. Even TRP wise it is a hit now. SP gets the credit for that. It is only we online people know what is being done to the show. But at home and all my mom , my aunts are fine with the way the show is going and they don't mind it is ending next month. My mom even asked now what is there to show. For them the moment Dev reached Nithya Kahaani khatam. Now only evil trio needs to be punished. And frankly in my neighbourhood and all whoever watching they are fine with it. So SP actually doesn't lose anything. Now they have taken up Everest. Thankfully it is just about a 4 month show. So I feel SP will make it run for the duration. So in a nutshell SP thrives on old formulae only. No nayi soch actually. Bahu has to be a doormat and leading man has to be dumb is the standard formulae. It is not only because of channel, it is because of audience too.Because if you look the top rated show DABH is also not free from this formulae. As a person who have watched the show I have seen how many times the leading lady is made to bear the torture of her saas in the name of family while the husband stands mute listening to her humiliation as he feels since his mother's ideology is old his wife has to bear with it for the support she is getting from him. Sandhya in DABH is never a liberated woman even with IPS. She is actually her MILs doormat and when I come online I see many people supporting that portrayal also. Educated woman are fine with the portrayal of doormat bahus then what should we talk about the rural people, is there any need to blame them. EHT too we know how many people wanted Durga to marry Shaurya, Shaurya to be reformed. Marriage of Payal and Shaurya as remedy also was suggested online. Even now there are people who are fine with Dev saving Durga from rape as if that is the expected norm. So when the educated people itself don't want to accept the changes , why we blame channels alone , audience also has to be blamed for wanting only 1 type of stories.

I also used to watch these saas-bahu drama
before but now have stopped for the last..4-5 months..

yeah she is still and will always be my fav. TV actress😊,but lost interest in the show now..🥱


Currently I am hooked to EHT..Undoubtedly this
is the most unique show on Star Plus but it so sad the channel
never appreciate these kind of shows🤢🤢


They should air not only saas-bahu saagas but all types of shows
Afterall variety is the spice of life😉

Really dont what problem star plus has 😡 If they dont like females stepping out of boundaries , then why agree to such a story in first place ? why did they fix the contract ?

I guess there are more than one channel head or creative head at SP.

Star Plus is the shittiest channel ever. I have taken a vow not to watch their "nayi soch" shows, EVER!
