AbhiAsh to end Koffee With Karan

Wrapping it up for KJO: Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai The grand finale of Karan Johar's current season of Koffee With Karan will feature newly-weds Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai. The couple will be shooting for the chat show in the coming weeks and the episode will air in August. As a parting shot, KJo has also lined up the Koffee awards, where a jury comprising Malaika Arora Khan, Cyrus Broacha, Rahul Bose, Rohit Bal and himself will pick the best of the guests this season in categories like Best Rapidfire Contestant, Best Supporting Guest, etc. After KJo bids adieu to Koffee With Karan, he is planning a variety show for NDTV's soon-to-be-launched entertainment channel, Imagine. Films first The show will be along the lines of the Oprah Winfrey show, featuring stand-up comedy, songs, dances, skits and celebrity interviews. An uncharacteristically tight-lipped Karan says, "Yes, I'm in talks with Sameer Nair about a variety show. It'll take off after I direct my next film." A source at the channel says that Karan's variety show will be the television version of tabloid journalism, "but far more credible. The notorious 'source' for Karan's spot-on spice will be unimpeachable. It will be authentic because Karan Johar is saying it." Adds Karan, "I have a commitment with NDTV to support and bolster their entertainment channel, but Sameer is at its helm. I'll contribute as much as they want me to, so I'll have to take a 'Koffee break'. First I will go back to my production house (Dharma) and do what I'm meant to — direct my next. I hear ya hun ~ For some reason, I am not excited although I like both Abhi-Ash.. But still.. This is a weird ending..*sighs*

I agree. I was waiting for Abhi-Ash but not for finaleI really hope this is a joke. He always end up announcing his directorial movie and i thought things would be different but if this is true, then very shocking. I hope this episode will be aired one week before finale😔

ughhhhhhh I'm sick and tire of kajol and I don't want her back on KWK. All she talks about is her daughter, husband and karan tell her what a chemistry kajol and srk have, gosh we know it already so let's NOT make a thousand KWK episode about the same thing

But SRK, abhi, Aish and others can keep coming back to the show 😛 😳

Pemberley & veryuniquestyle: It all boils down to one's perspective. For you guys, Abhi-Ash interview is going to be a big thing (and I respect y'all's opinion) but from my perspective, I did not want the show to end with Abhi-Ash's interview. I want to see their interview but ending the show with it is weird for "me".

As far as talking about one's family and chemistry and all, what do y'all think Abhi-Ash would be discussing in their interview? Besides the Big B's success, the big hoopla about their wedding, their family, their movies, etc etc.. It's all about "me, me and me" at the end of the day and all celebrities come on KWK to talk about themselves and not anybody else! I won't be expecting Ash to talk about Rani Mukherji or Karisma Kapoor now~ As for the chemistry, SRK-Kajol's chemistry is monumental in bollywood's history. And I was expecting more discussion towards their upcoming movies, including "Chak De". Moreover, it would have been nice to have a glimpse into KJ's movie "Khan" had they been roped in for an interview. But that's just my opinion.

If you guys have a different opinion, it doesn't mean that y'all shoot down that of others!

i agree with u . we will see then together for the first time after the marriage for an interview. it is exciting.

Finale Episode Should be something big. For me Abhishek and Ash aren't huge, I am already bored how much Publicity they got for their marriage, honeymoon and i think in-laws will make special appearance 😕Karan will ask same old question, why didn't you invited your friends and he will give same answers as he did in his interviews. At the end Karan will announce his production movie with Abhishek-Ash. I was wondering how come abhishek-Ash didn't came yet, now i've got the answer. I will wait for confirmation.
