Salman makes Sonakshi sob

The actress extended an olive branch to the star at his sister Arpita's wedding reception but what followed left her in tears.
When the film industry gets together for a celebration, headline grabbing shenanigans often ensue. Arpita Khan's wedding reception on Friday was no exception.
While merrymakers rejoiced around her, Sonakshi Sinha was seen sobbing, after a loud argument with Salman Khan. Even though the music was loud and the party was overflow- ing with invitees, the scene did not escape the notice of several guests.
It all began when Sonakshi went up to Salman and clicked a selfie with him. While she quickly uploaded the picture on Instagram to tell the janata that all was well between Salman and her (she titled it: Somethings Never Change), little did she know that she will soon be sobbing in a corner.
Sources who witnessed the episode told Mirror that Sonakshi started a conversation that angered Salman, who started a loud argument. Within a minute, an emotional Sonakshi started crying.
Despite her best efforts, Sonakshi could not stop her tears from flowing, but Salman refused to calm down. While it is still not known what provoked Salman in the first place but he was overheard telling Sonakshi in a loud voice: "Maine aisa kabhi nahin bola."
Those within earshot, including Daisy Shah and Niketan Dheer, were shocked. But better sense prevailed when producer Ashwini Yardi, a common friend of Sonakshi and Salman, ran in and intervened.
A source from the party says, "Yardi asked Sonakshi to stop crying. And then, she took the two of them aside and told them that they should dance together."
They danced for a minute or two as Yardi watched and then continued the conversation after moving into the adjoining hall, which too was teeming with guests.
This incident is just the latest chink in the fraught equation between Salman and Sonakshi. Salman gave a break to Sonakshi in Dabangg and worked with her again in Dabangg 2. Eventually, the actress grew so close to Salman's family that she was a part of most functions in the Khan household, including their festivals and the parties they threw.
However, according to sources, the relationship hit a rough patch when Sonakshi reportedly turned down the Arbaaz Khan production Dolly Ki Doli, being directed by debutant Abhishek Dogra. Sonam Kapoor is now essaying that role.
And then there were reports that Sooraj Barjatya wanted to cast Sonakshi in his upcoming film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo but Salman requested the Hum Aapke Hain Kaun maker to reconsider his decision. Incidentally, this part too later went to Sonam.
Will this latest tearjerker improve or worsen the situation?
