After having gone through the phase of delivering the bright sides of the ongoings in the world, let's take a moment of our time and analyse the things that are not perfect. Things that are out of our control, things that have destroyed hundreds of lives.
Let us be reminded that the world is not a perfect place but it can be perfect, should be join our hands in unity to fight the evil together.
In this era of technology, we have all the facilities available to eliminate the negative aspects affecting the world as a whole. We have the potential to make this world a better place to live. But before we do that, let us be reminded of the influences we need to overcome...
This devastating flood hit Kashmir in early September due to torrential rainfall. It has submerged around 390 villages, killed nearly 300 people and left hundreds of thousands displaced. Nearly 180,000 houses were damaged during this calamity and left thousands of people homeless.
Malaysian Airline MH17 Crashes in Ukraine
This horrific plane crash is the second tragedy to strike Malaysian Airlines this year after the MH370 crash within a matter of months. The airline lost contact with MH17 with 298 people aboard from Amsterdam with the last known position being Russian-Ukranian borders. The plane is believed to have been shot down by a Russian-supplied missile amidst the Russian-Ukrainian ongoing conflict.
Canada's first terror attack
Canada witnessed it's first terrorist attack in history in the form of Michael Zehaf-Bibeau in the capital city of Ottawa. Shortly after shooting a Canadian soldier standing guard at the National War Memorial to death, he stormed into the Parliamentary building. The primary target was supposedly the Prime Minister of the country who was escorted out of the building once it was surrounded by police. Micheal Zehaf-Bibeau was shot dead by Sergeant-at-Arms Kevin Vickers.

If you've turned on the news channels lately, you are likely to see the word Ebola every 2 minutes. Ebola, the fatal virus has wildly struck West Africa. More than 5000 people have succumbed to this epidemic. No cure has been invented for this deathly disease as of now but we can always pray for a miracle.
An Iranian woman hanged for murdering her rapist
An Iranian woman was executed on 25th October 2014, for murdering her rapist. Reyhaneh Jabbari, 26, was hanged in Tehran's Evin prison after spending five years on death row for the 2007 murder of a man who tried to rape her. Jabbari confessed to stabbing Morteza Abdolali Sarbandi in the back in the apartment where he tried to sexually abuse her but she claimed that another person present in the apartment killed Sarbandi.

Kudos to the CC for coming up with such an amazing idea ... This thread is very informative ... Though we read about these mishaps regularly but we tend to ignore these & sometimes we remain blissfully unaware of them.
