I guess the manner in which the story has sidestepped the main plot ( revenge and justice for Payal) is perhaps a reflection of how things happen in real life .
No matter how good plans are, there are Always variables that one cannot control. In this instance Durga cannot control anything/ anyone except herself. She can layout the best of plans and simply hope and pray that she can pull it off. She has done so with Mathur ,Bagchi and the professor. However, it would be too unreal if her progress was unabated ,or if no distractions or setbacks come in the way.
I am eager too for the story to get back on track. However, I can see that the context that is being created with other parallel plots involving Dev , Shaurya' s's bets and schemes, Sakshi's machinations etc.,are needed to provide a believable current context . How unreal would it be if they show just Durga going on with her revenge and the Goenkas being the silent inactive recipients of this?
I would like to think that the story writers and directors know what they are doing and that all the various plots and subplots will come together some time in the future. Till then I think it is a matter od living with the multiple tracks that are being opened up and waiting for them all to converge .
