Judges - Gala 5

I found Udit N's and Alisha's comments more credible in this Gala. Anu Malik does not exist for me and Javed disappointed me with his unbiased liking for Ankita. She butchered the beautiful "Suraj Hua" song :(.

I don't know where these judges are steering these kids but they are more about drama and patting each others back (or the other way around in Anu's and Alisha's case which could be due to their past grievances with each other).

I truly hope II finds better judges next time around. People who are more graceful and more teacher like.

So far I have liked Shankar Mahadevan, KK, Hariharan in a judge's seat.

I think whoever will say anything negative about Ankita will become ur fav judge or seems more credible to you 😆 😆

Yh bt there Anikta didnt sing bad re 😳 the song she sang sooo beautifully and I was like WOW!! 😳

and for me Javed Sir and Anuji's comments only seem to be true and proper 😕 😕

should have added this - i am actually an Ankita fan and a supporter but that does not mean I have to support her even if she sounds bad to me on some days.

The excuse for her poor performance was that she sang a song which is not her style but others don't have this comfort. Everyone has to show their diversity and range to be an Indian Idol. Apparently they are not looking for a item song singer. And sadly it is one of her shortcomings.

Agree with your point of the judges. But please note that such things are stage managed to keep the show spirit and make it look real and interesting to make the audience feel that the judges do have different view and they argue over this. Back stage scenes are different.
After all Anu Mullick now shares the same seat with Alisha, who had accused him and dragged him to the press (I think court too) few years back.
All what we see about the judges argument are only to keep the show interesting and full of life and make it the talk of the town.after all audiences would enjoy their arguement.
Do we know that in parallel there are other best singer selection shows on the air in ZEE TV and Star TV also. They are not as that popular as this Indian Idol. It is because that the marketing is less and the Judges are not highly vocal.
Even some shows abroad do use this stunt to get higher viewership. Its all business, nothing personal.
