I agree with you..even though it may seem extreme at first, one who understands Manik's nature knows that ye hain hi aisa..it's in his very nature. He is impulsive and whenever anybody tries to harm someone or something that matters to him he just bursts! When Nandini had told him that she knows the truth about Cabir banda took his Monster avatar again and threatened her, even though he had started developing feelings for her by then..and this is toh Harshad, even he knows Manik too well, he should have thought twice before attacking Cabir like that..so yea, after what he knowingly did to Cabir, he deserves what he got (not to mention the fact that he is still using Navya)
