The sun rays broke into the room falling harshly on her angelic face. They disturbed her sleep...as she she opened her eyes she sat up with a sudden jolt as she remembered the previous day's happenings. She hadn't realized when she actually dozed off...all she remembered was her mother's words
" Kriya pack ur bags...we are leaving 2mrw"
As these words ran thru her mind a lone tear passed down her cheek. She didn't know what to do...all she knew was that she had to stop her mother. She can't afford to lose her friends, she didn't want to betray them she didn't want a life without them and she could do anything to just stay with them. She was brought out of her thoughts by the sudden click of her room door. Her mom walked in,
" Kriya u still haven't packed anything...now get out of ur bed and get ready I'll do the packing" her mom told in a stern tone.
Kriya just didn't know how to respond...tears started flowing down her eyes...she just managed to mumble "mom "
"I'm don't wanna listen to a single word from you" snapped her mom
Kriya still continued in between her sobs, "Mom plz, I know I lied to you punish me but don't take away my friends from me, they are my world, I'd promise you anything you want but plz allow me to be here plz mom give me one last chance...they have been my reason to smile now plz don't snatch them away plz..."she couldn't continue anymore, she fell on her knees sobbing hard .
Her mom felt the pain she was going thru...she didn't want her daughter to suffer after all she's the only family she has. It wasn't her friends that bothered her but it was dance, dance and the rich heartless men bothered her she feared someday she'd find Kriya as devasted as she was once and her little angel won't be able to take it but neither was she's able to take this pain. Kriya was never so attached to anyone but her mom, watching Kriya with her friends always made Smriti happy, she wanted her angel to smile always but today she's forced to snatch them. Should she snatch the only thing her daughter has ever asked her??? But giving what she wants meant welcoming more pain...was this momentary happiness better than her lifelong sufferings???
Smriti moves upto Kriya and engulfs her in hug...Kriya hugs back and starts crying harder. After a while Smriti pulls back and says,
"Kriya I don't wanna hurt you but If I don't do it now it'll hurt more" and wipes tears off Kriya's face
" Mom plz only my friends" pleads Kriya.
Seeing her daughter like that was the last things Smriti wanted, she lovingly stropes Kriya's hair and says,
"Ookay okay stop crying...fine we'll stay back but you got to promise me u'd never lie again, never ever and you'll not even think of dance and u'll even forget that u ever knew a person called Rey"
Kriya's heart ached hearing Rey's name but this was the only choice she had...she'd prefer being with her friends rather than having no one. She chose her friends, she promised to let go of dance let go of Rey infact she promised to kill a bit of herself. That part which didn't know how to survive without dance how to live without Rey. After this her mom leaves her to get ready for college.
Kria feels better after convincing her mom but the overall sadness still dawns on her. She's yet to decide how'd she break this news to her friends, how will she face Rey? How will she convince her friends about something which she isn't convinced herself about...dance??? Gosssh*sigh
"I'll have to face this...all alone" saying this she leaves to the washroom
In college:
Both Dazzlers and Weaklings are present in the atrium. Everyone's hooting for Team Weaklings.
Vicky: believe nahi ho raha ki we lost and that to just because of Shivam
Nil: I know dude, yeh sab Sharon ki wajah se ho raha hai...btw where's she???
Vic: Ayi nahi hogi aur kya???
Nil: Waise aya toh Rey bhi nahi. I wonder who kaisa feel kar raha hoga. Kal raat BB court main jo halath thi uski pata nahi who coll aayega bhi nahi.
Their convo was broken by the loud cheers by students who were hooting for weaklings.
Neha: Neha not believing ki hum jeet gaye
Vish: Ya dude, and all coz ok Kria...and btw where's she?
Bha: Arre Hamesha ki tarah late ayegi
Swayam: Arre guys don't worry woh ajayegi and aaj ka treat meri taraf se!
Bha: yeh sahi hai😃
On the other side Kriya enters college, she's lost in her thoughts still unsure how to face her friends. Her thoughts are broken by Vishaka's voice.
"Hey Kriya...finally tu agayi" saying this vishaka hugs her tight, Kriya hugs back and smiles.
All the weaklings gather around her. They seem all happy, hugging each other rejoicing the moment and all kria does is pass a weak smile. They are making it more difficult for her, she can't snatch their happiness by letting the truth out...she can't be the reason for their despair.
Swayam notices that somethings wrong and asks Kriya, "Is everything alright"
She just smiles and say, "Ya what could be possibly wrong"
But he isn't convinced, "Kriya what's the matter"
Kriya doesn't know how to reply, she just says "Swayam later"
Swayam gives an understanding nod and all leave to canteen. As they pass thru the crowd her eyes are searching for those pair of eyes which she couldn't dare looking into after yesterday night. But still she wants to make sure he's okay.
Just then she sees Rey descend down the stairs. Their eyes meet.
~Rey's pov~
"Yakeen nahi hota, itne masum chere ke peeche ek selfish ladki chupi hai, kya sachme yeh itna selfish hosakti hai? Are her friends also her means of gaining popularity or am I the only fool? itna kuch hone ke baad bhi why can't I just hate her"

~Kriya's pov~
"I'm sorry Rey I don't have a choice, main aapse maafi bhi nahi mangsakti hoon. Ho sake tho mujhe maaf kardena and mujhe bhul jana, bhul jana ki kabhi aap ek Kriya naam ki ladki se mile the"

The cheering around them brings them back to reality, Kriya just avoids Rey futher and marches towards the canteen. Rey's hurt, its not the elims but its his love that's hurting him more, he's still confused which side of hers to believe...how could everything flip in one night. Putting his thoughts aside he leaves that place.
Later In rehearsal hall:
Swayam asks Kriya, "Kriya what's wrong, you seem to be all lost and worried"
Kriya: " Swayam its just..."
Swayam cuts her, "Just say it"
