@ Bold: Agreed. There's more going on with KA than just her love for Sahir and animosity towards Arzoo. She definitely feels for Sahir's first wife/girlfriend. There are divided loyalties here, a bit like of the housekeeper in Rebecca towards her first mistress.

Hmm I've been convinced of the woman locked away in some sanatorium/home/asylum for a while now. I don't think they'll paint Sahir as seducer, charmer and wife abuser, more likely an honourable man who's a victim of his first alliance.

Plus, he's trying to stay away from Arzoo, although grabbing her hair, shoving his face breaths away from hers and staring at her with burning eyes might suggest the contrary.😆 But the fact is, he's made no voluntary moves towards her.

It's Arzoo who keeps walking in on Sahir half-dressed. He's fighting a losing battle with himself and if the spoilers are to be believed will fall violently in love with her. But it's not as if he's doing anything to make her fall for him. Keeps pushing her away, and has now warned her away verbally.

Also not convinced of wife abuse - I get the feeling it's the other way around. His first wife/fiancee may have been injured in an accident, or tried to commit suicide or had mental health issues. I'm not sure at this point. But he's trying to be honourable towards his first wife and nibhao that relationship is the feeling I get.

Remember Sahir doesn't come to office on Thursdays...also once they showed Sahir reacting violently after he receives a call from the doctor... So most probably his 1st wife may be critically ill or mentally unstable...

Alvira wants her son to move on in life or she wants to save herself from any past doing?

Kurti Aapa fond of his 1st wife or knows tat Alvira is evil n wants to save Aarzoo from perhaps what Zeenat is going through...

Is Alvira the step mom n cares only for Zaki?

Something about Alvira does not sit right for me for a while now. She was not particularly nice to her older son his name escapes me... Anam's husband. It's like she did not care for him staying or leaving. Anam had stated that when Alvira came with the marriage proposal she had "promised" a fair share in Saiyarra to her and now she is trying to get Zaki the position that Anam worked hard for. I agreed with Anam there and Alvira did not deny it. She went back on her word it so seems!

I initially thought she wanted happiness in Sahir's life but I don't know if there is something else behind all of this, perhaps her guilt, her personal motives...waiting to see how her mystery unfolds.

Also with KA there is definitely more than meets the eye 😆 She is growing on me 😕 LOL

Well secrets or not I loved yesterday's episode I unabashedly admit😳.

Especially because that much discussed will he won't he would he shouldn't he kiss never happened...the thought didn't cross his mind even...yes he is attracted to her but his realization kicked in way before he could attempt to work on that attraction! And he moved away...and hurt himself!

Now that last was different from what heroes from this stable do..certainly! I hope it stays!

Indications are that he is married but I don't get why KA should beat around the bush so much in that case...I mean she has always warned that marriage will bring a storm into his life and all...but never once said..he has a wife! Either it's one of those things among many that was dne for pure drama or it's a hint that he isn't married anymore ! But the woman in his life probably still affects his life...maybe he feels responsible for her condition! Doesn't tie in with him saying love is pain and his obvious referral to betrayal and the fact that no one is always with you!

Too many clues to the secret past and no clue on how they tie together...except there is another woman involved!

I think we will know next week...atleast the basic truth...and then will start the actual story of Sahir and Arzoo!

Yesterday's episode made me feel good again about the show so I am looking forward to next week 😃

Like you I am not sure why everybody is keeping secrets from Arzoo. All of Sahirs family are keeping mum about his past. Deeply unethical if they intend to deceive Arzoo into marrying Sahir. Pretty sure once he realizes his mums intent aSahir will try and tell her, but will be foiled in every attempt to be honest. Arzoo will typically only find out just before they are ready to consummate. 😉

Still that makes me dislike Alvira a little more and KA a little less for ther efforts. Hope that Arzoo finds out before the nikaah if Sahir is already married. I predict many red herrings ahead!😆

Sabs...only Alvira wants to get him married to Arzoo and KA is trying to stop her...for some reason she needs proof for whatever she is going to tell Arzoo!

I just hope the story they have justifies all this secrecy and complication😆

Unless the marriage happens in some situation before tbe truth can be told I also believe Sahir will tell her...or like you say try to tell her..! And yeah what's a show without a MU between tbe leads

I'm liking these past few episodes for the developing SaAz relationship. Some funny moments, building awareness and yes the intensity.

Loved that Arzoo drove the car, and that Sahir let her. No clichs here. Loved the phone call from Dadi the speaker-phone warning to stay away from Sahir, and the building awareness, the lighter moments at the tea stall, and the building intensity.

HC's torment was convincing, as was his intensity as he thrust Aarzoo away from him. I'm waiting to see Arzoo's reactions, and the resultant effects on SaAz tomorrow.

Which Pakistani show, btw. Do tell, am curious now. 😃

Agreed, and Alvira's picked Arzoo because, among other things, she's not from Mumbai and their circle and does not know Sahir's past. I guess Alvira could have had a hand in Sahir's misfortune, but even without, she's his mother after all, and it must be killing her to see her son living half a life and punishing himself for years.

Hmm KA is def fond of Wife No. 1. I don't think Alvira's evil exactly, although her intentions towards Arzoo are not exactly snow white just now.

She def loves Zaki. What, I wonder, is Zaki's role in Sahir's misfortune. Or is he just the by-stander, trying to live his life to the fullest.😊

Its been soo many years since I have read/seen Jane Eyre so the similarity in the storyline did not cross my mind, but now just like you I have it in my head too 😃

so much that I ended up watching Jane Eyre after reading your post yesterday!😊

I know Rochester does not have as many fans as Darcy but there is something about him that draws sympathy and attraction. He is definitely more grey but he is stuck in this unwanted marriage and feels responsible for his wife and it seems that Sahir might be in the same boat.

Sahir is bitter because apparently for whatever reasons he may not be able to leave her or stay with her and his life has become a living hell just like Rochester's Am eagerly waiting to see where the CV's take this...

Yes KA has the potential to be Mrs. Danvers!😲

@ Rochester vs Darcy: Agreed that Rochester may not have as many fans. He is a darker character, brooding and quite compelling, whom I actually prefer to Darcy. Loved Heyer's take on him in Venetia. Oh Lord, now I'm going to have to read it! 😳

@ Sahir's unliveable life: A lot of it is a hell of his own making. He won't forgive himself nor will he let himself forget and move on (clearly he's an honourable man and feels he doesn't deserve to). As a result he's also making his family's life hell.

@ Where do the CVS take this: Interesting that they've made Arzoo so strong, able to take on

any challenge, with a temper of her own, and the courage to prevail even when the odds are against her. Seems to me that it's that steel that Arzoo is going to need to face up to what's coming her way next.

@ Mrs Danvers: I still shudder at the memory of that one. I so hope that KA continues to be malicious, OTT, but ineffective. 😊
