*Hello everyone!😊This is the first time I am writing an OS and I am really nervous.I stopped watching the show few weeks ago.Recently I started watching it again and I really like Alya's character.She seems the most realistic one of the lot.Moreover I am loving her blooming friendship with Dhruv.😃I am kind of conficted whether I want a romantic relationship between them. I don't watch KYY, but I think I will try it soon. I watched a Alya-Dhruv VM. Awrrr! So cute that it makes me want to ship them!

It seemed to her as if fate was playing a cruel trick on her.She felt a familiar stab of jealousy when she saw Manik smile tenderly at Nandini . A perfectly natural feeling.

He never smiled like that when we were together.

"Stop it Alya.Pull yourself together.It has been one year already",she told herself.She put on a fake smile which she thought was friendly enough to convince her friends that she was perfectly fine.Today is Manik's birthday and she does not want to make him feel guilty and awkward.So she sits at the table laughing at Cabir's jokes and listening to Mukti's chatter.She wishes Manik and gives him her gift.She hears him babble on how great the gift is and how wonderful it is that she has agreed to attend the birthday party which Nandini has planned for him and she almost wants to throw up. I love your description here, it flows really well.It's natural and I don't believe this is a first OS.

She throws a small glance at the only quiet person at the table who has his nose buried in a book."Atleast he is coping better than me.".He has always been a quiet person around other people so it is difficult to understand what exactly is going on in his mind."Nowadays he is quiet even when we are alone",she pondered.

She makes a fake excuse of some work she has to attend and leaves the table.

She is not bitter anymore and she is definitely not jealous.Not at all.Not even angry at Manik.If she was she would not have agreed to attend his party.But she is not alone after all.She knows that there is someone else who will feel equally miserable at the party. Again, I know nothing about Alya, but I love her already

Not again.

She is standing beside Mukti as Manik cuts his cake and feeds the first piece to Nandini with a lovesick smile on his face.Nandini's eyes are shining with happiness as she looks lovingly at the man they both love. If this was my ex and his girl I'd feel sick. Poor Alya

Loved.I have moved on.I am not some pathetic girl who pines for someone else's love. Atta girl Alya!

Keep on telling yourself that Alya,her subconscious tells her.

Just a few more hours.

She keeps on reminding herself. I like her

But inspite of that when she sees them dancing to a slow romantic song all she wants to do is shove Nandini aside and take her place.

I am a terrible person.Maybe that is why he chose her. I think I got myself another writer to love

Her jaws are hurting from smiling too much and she sneaks a glance at the man standing at the other end of the dance floor.He looked like he wanted to be anywhere but here.

Her mood improves a little when she sees him and she can breathe normally again.She walks up to him and taps on his shoulder.

"Want to get out of here?"

"Gladly." Aw...I loved the part about her jaws hurting, a perfect addition of realism without flowery words. 👏

They leave the party together as Alya makes up yet another excuse of some unattended work.He volunteers to drop her home.Mukti casts a knowing look at Alya but does not say anything.

"Call your driver and tell him to take the car home",he tells her.

"Why?I want to go home"

"No.You are coming with me.We are going to eat ice cream."

"What?!"

"Why?You don't like ice cream?"

"Offcourse I do.But why all of a sudden?"

"Because it cures all heartaches." This is it. I have found myself a new ship. AND i WANT TO READ MORE!

Later that night she goes to sleep with a smile on her face.She may need some more nights to get over Manik.But someday she will definitely find someone who will smile at her like she means the world to him. The last line was cherry on the cake.

I loved Alya the character in this one. You did a splendid work making a character who is unknown to me seem almost like a friend.

This OS on Alya is really nice. She is a character that goes so close with reality. She is so real and you portrayed the real her. Yeah, she is jealous, she is sad and she is bitter. No matter how many times she tells herself to stop feeling jealous or stop thinking about her love, she can't. At least no so soon. Because unlike Manik, she loved him. It was not just an infactuation for her. She loved him and love is a pure feeling even if she is evil. But she isn't evil. She is just like any other normal teenager with her own flaws who is trying to turn herself into a better person by every passing day.

Thanks a lot for writing on her yaar. I'm just loving her more and more now-a-days!😛
