I have been watching the old episodes of JA since past few days n i have realised that as we all know salim is going to rebel n hurt jalal emotionally along with jodha n he will be closer to ruqqaiya as per history too but to me atleast it doesnt matter that much. It is going to be painful to watch the parents hurting coz of their kid n jodha crying but i can take anything salim or ruqqaiya dish out as long as they show jodha and jalal as a single unit. As long as they stand for each other n dont get onto a conflict i don t mind a weak or addict or rebelious salim. The story is abt jodha n jalal and how they stood by each other through thick n thin and thats what matters.

@bold: this is what that matters the most to me. If we get to see that I am happy but CVS are not consistent here.

Post Leap I am seeing a Jodha as a supportive wife but apart from this she is shown to be foolish especially in front of Ruks. Post Leap Jalal has become strong and I am liking it. But Jodha needs to be shown stronger too.

But watching Salim being drugged BY Ruks so that he can go against Jodha is very painful. Salim can easily get access to drus what not when he is older. but to watch him being drugged at such an young age is depressing.

Salim never so close to rukaiya as he was close to his mom MUZ. After MUZ died, he has made for her both tomb and mosque.

Even i agree with u n sindhu di!

I want a jodha n jalal who stand by n support each other..no matter whatever obstacles come in their way..n that is in d true sense an epic luv story!

But again jalal should give back to ruk n stop pampering her n start punishing 4 her deads n always b an emotional support to jodha in everyway!

But i have question..is it true historically salim was more close to ruk than jo..abhay's threads say salim respected MUZ n loved her?😲

Your lines n bold - this is exactly what viewers who were watching for Jodha Jalal love story wanted to watch. Not just for Akbar the great but JodhaAkbar - those viewers are betrayed big time.

I am not watching JA cos I felt really betrayed when Jalal blamed Jodha after Hussain and punished her for 3-1/2 years. After that moment and then when he told Ruk she was responsible for Zeenat and MUZ but no matter what she does he will always stand by her - the love story just died for me.

I am not watching and so far reading the wu I have not wanted to start watching again.

I have TOTALLY LOST TRUST on Jalal that when it comes to the crunch he will stand for Jodha. No so far in JA he has never stood for Jodha publicly against Ruk. So everything he says seems fake to me, he is a weak man.

The way I see this - Jodha was punished for no fault of hers and when Jalal talks of justice it is so fake and phony - he did grave injustice to Jodha the woman who loves him most - stood by him at his worst times and HE dumped her in her worst time not just that but accused her of being responsible for her own child and he let Ruk go scot free. Did not even give her the respect to offer apology for it.

What was broken then will never be mended. This Jalal will NEVER really dare to punish Ruk nor see her reality. All he will do is rage at Jodha as per his whims - in good mood lovey dovey and when it is not as what he wants he will just dump on Jodha.

Jodha is the only loser here - she loves a man who would not stand by her when it comes to crunch and due to his weakness and gutlessness against Ruk - Jodha is going to lose out on her son also.

I am sorry to vent on your thread - but what you wrote is exactly what we wanted to watch in JA - epic love story where they are together no matter what - but Jalal broke it. Now I just don't feel it anymore.

Instead of turning Jodha into his weak foolish goody goody loser doing rangolis and singing bhajans - I wish they just kill off Jodha in their NR.

I don't care what Jalal does or who he sleeps with - Jodha is reduced to a bandi in JA.

according to history Salim was close to his mother MUZ and respected Salima-Ruqaiyya..and was a darling of his Dadijaan Hamida Banu.

I personally dont think there will be any tiff between JJ coz of Salim..but the way story is going Salim will be against his parents and closer to Ruqaiyya.

I agree till JJ stand as one, I dont care much...still the kid Salim getting influenced by evil Ruqaiyya makes me feel sad for him..I adore Salim way too much.

Salim was most close to hamida bano and muz only among women in family

he just respected ruqaiah and salima as badi ammi and they supported him to become emperor

muz obviously was neutral as the fight was between her son salim and grandson khusrau

Akbar supported khusrau to be emperor but then changed decision after he was adviced by senior ministers and ruqaiah and salima that a son cannot become emperor when father alive
