Third of the way through, I realized this was a remake of Okkadu. I personally prefer Ghilli though (I am more inclined towards Vijay). I doubt this one would even come close to those two movies but the trailer wasn't too bad. Manoj Bajpayee is actually a good choice to replace Prakash Raj.

They should just throw in "Appadi Podu" for good measure. Hoping for good songs like the southern versions.

Why does it look like some crappy Prabhudeva movie? This movie actually had so much potential to look different (if you know the story or have watched the original you'd know). But they made it look like any other masala movie. Meh.

And Arjun looks decent (facewise). Sonakshi totally meh.
