I really miss Indipop albums from the nineties and early noughties. Bollywood seems to have killed the music industry. 😡

Anyway, one of my favourite songs from that time was Gur nalon ishq mitha. 😃 I used to love watching Jas Arora in the video. 😆

I also really liked the song Kesariya by Sunita Rao and Ab ke sawan by Shubha Mudgal.

Indipop songs those days and especially their videos, they had some story to tell and had a very sweet vibe to them.

U can listen to them even now and cannot not feel the happiness...

Oh my I MISS THOSE DAYS! 🥺 My childhood days were spent listening and watching these wonderful albums. Even the picturization was so cute! ...IDK why there are none these days to create such pop songs... :(

I have many favorites, still do listen to many of them... I will list here as manyy as I can recall!!

FALGUNI - Sawan Mein Morni Banke, Kaisi yeh hulchul hai, indhna widwa, Maine payal hai chankayi, O Piya O Piya, Yaad Piya ki aane lagi, Tera mera pyaar sanam

Models --- Mehendi ki raat

Launguwacha... dunno by whom 😆

Nazia Hasan --- Boom boom, disco deewane

Shaan -- Tanha Dil, Dil Kya Kare, Roop Tera Mastana, Aisa Hota Hai(along with his sister Sagarika)

Bombay Vikings -- Kya soorat hai, Woh Chali woh Chali, Hawa mein udta jaaye

Sunita Rao -- Pari Hoon Mein, Kesariya hai roop maro chamchamaa mere

ASha Bhonsle --- Parde mein rehne doo.. Raat Shabnami, etc..

Seee... there were so many, I have many more that I loove! I still listen to many even today... It was all fine till the remixs came up in 2000s...dunno why such albums arent coming out these days. 😭 even the videos were sooo damn good! I miss those days 💔

can someone pleeaaase tell me which song this is? --

I only remember the video that too in fragments :( ..there's a little cute girl like, 4-5 years old, who keeps looking at her mother's photos, and I remember the ending, the girl puts mehendi falls asleep, perhaps her daddy comes and hugs her. Please help me, I wanna know what song that was 😆 ...it was a pop song.

Palash Sen & his band Euphoria.
They had some really beautiful songs... especially Mairi Yaad Woh ❤️❤️
And Lucky Ali's songs!
