Having watched HS on yt , it was an absolute pleasure watching it on the big screen on Indian tv! As many times as I watch it, I come away feeling " what a show" it never loses its charm and everytime impresses me with its fabulousness! Great cast, acting, direction, DOP, script, production values , OSt, editing- the works!! Everything is perfectly aligned in this show!! And it can't be said it is one actor or technicians show. It is a true ensemble! Be it the fawad- mahira- naveens triad, atiqa - hina the beautiful mommas obsessed with their kids , the rational but emotional dad baseerat or noor hasan, the hated khiZer and of course, the ever so loving batool khala! Everyone was outstanding!

And let's not forget, HS has the best last scene I've scene in any English, hindi or Urdu show! The way they have used baarish and juxtaposed the past scenes over the present symbolising their love washing away the bitter memories is WOW!!


👏 for the entire team of HS! Is and shall remain a classic in the category of great shows like dhoop kinare and Tanhaiyan. No other show has come close to it for me. Maybe sadqay Tumhare that is currently on air.. I really hope so. High time!

& Regarding Sadqay yes it is looking nice , lets see wht happens Bt its nt going to Vanish Humsafar magic , It cn create uts own.No Doubt !!

I have to agree on this Pyaray Afzal could have well gone past this if it wasn't extended but well I'll still rate these two shows on top and than ZGH, Daam and the list goes on

I have high expectations from Sadqay though it is a bit slow but feeling the magic that was missing since long plus love stories are generally more attractive as they are very few comparing to dramas on Social Issues

I lubbb Pyaare afzal... The only show that's been as captivating as HS. But agree with u... It stopped just short coz they dragged it. Also, it doesn't hold the same repeat value for me... I love the language in it but the episodes outside Hyderabad dragged a bit in the middle. Enjoyed Daam , durreshewar, all the Baraat series and pehchan as well... Not a fan of zgh coz I feel they destroyed a great story in the attempt to make another HS but I loved ullu baraokht...
