I think her name is thrown around by the makers to hype the impending projects. Nothing more to these rumours.

I don't know about half girlfriend but rock on is just bland. Never saw it but farhan singing live on rock on songs during one of the award show was torturous enough.

Half girlfriend should have gone to Kriti Sanon or Ileana i think kriti more she fit the description chetan bhagat gave in his book. Kriti and Arjun would be perfect casting if Alia is chosen then Varun can also fit her chemistry with Varun is better than her chemistry with Arjun.
