Hey, place Hirani at Salman's place and Priya Dutt/Manyata at Anand L Rai's.

Just like Salman initially said he'd be working in Anand's movie and later silently left it, Hirani would also leave this biopic silently.. giving an excuse that he needs to do more research or he'd make a quickie before starting the biopic blah blah

No but they did after Olympics...and since then in 2012 till 2014 we know pretty much every detail of her life thanks to the media coverage she gets. Sanjay Dutt is even better known. What's the story left to tell? Something like BMB worked because though we had heard of Milkha Singh we didnt know a lot about him as he was a well known athlete a very long time ago.

This movie would take Heroine's fate. I feel, Heroine was a good movie but audience rejected it because most of them knew all the gossips and inside stories. There was nothing new left for Bhandarkar to show.

I don't know, but I feel they are planning for Sanju's early release. You'd get PR articles like -- Sanju is diligent, Jail authorities increased Sanju's salary (Truth is every inmate of Maharashtran jail got it).

If not Manyata then Priya is behind this. Sanju's bad image affects her political career.
