i had a 16 yr old rape victim for counselling today..poor thing was molested by her chacha 4 years back, complained to parents, and father dearest says, "ghar ki baat hai, lets not bring it out..my own brother he is..." finally tht brother dearest of his raped his own niece two days back..am astounded at how parents who are supposed to be ur protectors do such things..how cud any parent let his own child stay vulnerable and now get violated like this..everyday my cynicism increases seeing such people..inse better sachi, mere psychotic patients hain..they have no reality testing..these people have their judgment intact and yet do such things..the only silver lining was tht the girl's spirit is not broken..she wants to do English Literature, with Honors..sue me, but i kinda scared the mother into letting her study otherwise her husband and she can be prosecuted as accomplices for the crime..the lady inspector with them winked at me and said the same..hehe..
