Buzz: Saurabh Tewari Films have three shows in the making; Mohit and Sanaya approached to pair up again..

Saurabh Tewari Films might be wrapping up duties for their ongoing show on Colors, Rangrasiya, but news coming in is that they have three new shows in planning, for which auditions are going on in full-scale.

As per a reliable source, Saurabh Tewari is presently working on a show each for Sony Entertainment Television, Star Plus and Zee & (and).

Recently, the team organized an extensive audition schedule in Chandigarh and Delhi for all the three shows. The team is looking for a right mix of fresh and experienced faces for the new shows.

A well-placed source confides in us, "The show for Star Plus will be a mature love story, based on relationships set up in Chandigarh. The Sony show will be based on a modern day Gujarati community. The show will be based on a popular novel."

The buzz doing rounds in the industry is that the maker is looking to cast the very popular offscreen and onscreen pair of Mohit Sehgal and Sanaya Irani for their show on Star Plus. Also, Shaheer Sheikh, who has recently completed duties for the popular show Mahabharat has been considered for the other lead on the show. Having said this, it is as well heard that Mohit also fits into the lead's character in their Sony TV show.

The source further adds, "All the three shows are in the nascent stage. The casting process is in full swing, and there is a long way to go before the leads get locked."

We tried calling Mohit and Sanaya, but could not get through to them.

Our efforts to get in touch with Producer Saurabh Tewari were futile.

Savita, Shishir and Ashlesha roped in for Saurabh Tewari's next on Sony TV

We start the day with Saurabh Tewari's upcoming show for Sony Entertainment Television. For the uninitiated, we have already reported exclusively about Mohit Sehgal and Roshni Sahuta playing the lead faces in this untitled show with a Marathi backdrop.

We now hear that the maker and channel have roped in seasoned and experienced actors Shishir Sharma and Savita Prabhune for the project. Shishir Sharma was on a hiatus from television, and was last seen in Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli. Prabhune played Aayi to Archana in the long-running Balaji Telefilms show Pavitra Rishta for five years.

A reliable source states, "Shishir Sharma has been roped in to play father to the female lead in the upcoming Sony TV show. Prabhune will play mother to the male lead, Mohit Sehgal."

Also, talented and beautiful actress Ashlesha Sawant who began her career with Balaji Telefilms' Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi has been roped in for an important role. She will play the elder sister of Mohit Sehgal, as per sources.

When contacted, Shishir confirmed the news stating, "Yes, I am supposed to play the father figure in the upcoming show. However, things are still at the nascent stage and I will like to talk on it at the right time."

We could not reach out to Savita, as she was busy.

When buzzed, Ashlesha who has been part of shows like Kammal, Kahiin Toh Hoga, Saat Phere, Pavitra Rishtaand continues to be part of Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara said, "I wonder how you people get to know things so early. I wish to speak to you at the right time."

We tried buzzing Producer Saurabh Tewari, but he remained unavailable for a comment.

We contacted a channel spokesperson, but did not receive any revert.

This show, produced by Saurabh Tewari Films for Sony TV will go on floor mid-October.

Ananya Khare appraoched for Saurabh Tewari's next on Sony TV?

Talented actress Ananya Khare who was last seen in Colors' popular show Rangrasiya is set to come back on the small screen with Saurabh Tewari's new show.

Versatile actress Ananya Khare who was last seen as Mohini in Saurabh Tewari's showRangrasiya on Colors' has gained lot of appreciation for her character in the show. The actress has also done some commendable roles in films like Devdas and Chandni Bar.

This talented and brilliant actress Ananya Khare is all set bring back her charisma in front of the viewers in Saurabh Tewari's next venture on Sony TV. As reported Mohit Sehgal will play the lead in the show and now as per the development we came to know that Ananya will be seen sharing screen space with him in the same show.

Our source informs, "Ananya Khare has been finalized for Saurabh Tewari's new show onSony TV. She will be playing a pivotal role and has started shooting for the show."

"The show is slated to go on floors in January 2015," ends our source.

We contacted Ananya to know more about her role and she says, "I have been getting calls for the show but I cannot comment anything more on the same."

Well, Ananya Khare was associated with Saurabh Tewari for the second time after his previous venture Rangrasiya on Colors which was applauded by the masses. We hope to see her back on scree and wish her all the best for her future endeavors!

Drashti Dhami to play the lead in Saurabh Tewari's next on Sony TV?

Popular actress Drashti Dhami is all set to come back on the small screen opposite Mohit Sehgal in Saurabh Tewari's next venture on Sony TV.

Saurabh Tewari's next venture on Sony TV is becoming the talk of the town. As we have have already informed you about the versatile actress Ananya Khare being approached for Saurabh Tewari's next on Sony TV, the next on the development front is the lead actress for the yet untitled show. 

The talented actress Drashti Dhami who was last seen in Colors' Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon  has been roped in to essay the lead opposite Mohit Sehgal. 

Our source informs us, "Yes, Drashti Dhami has given an audition for the lead role and has been almost finalized but the last decision is yet to be taken by the makers of the show."

Earlier a Punjabi model Harprit Kaur who was approached for the same character but things couldn't materialize and hence she is no more a part of the show.

We tried contacting Drashti but she remained unavailable for any comment.

Mohit Sehgal, Drashti Dhami coming back on television in new show 

It is already reported that Mohit Sehgal is returning on TV with new show after Qubool Hai.

The show is a love story which is produced by Sourabh Tiwari.

However, the title of show is still not finalized but show has a very unique of two individuals.

Audition for female lead is also happening where Madhubala ek ishq ek junoon fame Drashti Dhami has also selected for the role.

Drashti Dhami has not confirmed yet about her entry in the show but if everything will go good then it will be a treat for Drashti Dhami and Mohit Sehgal's fans.
