So just when you think the show has lost it's path and the tracks are all convoluted/complicated and the charm of the show we fell in love with has gone - CVs manage to say "challenge accepted" and make it even MORE worse.
This Sangeeta/Bhavna Umadgaon secret was poorly executed - the back story fell flat.
Raj and Avni finding each other and uncovering the real reason their wedding was forced to be called off was endearing, them sorting through their differences and rekindling their love was also endearing. Them getting married secretly - i didn't completely follow the logic there - i guess if they are married then once the family finds out there is no choice but to accept them as they are already married? The secret marriage part was a bit much for me - its romantic and endearing but under the circumstances felt unsettling. I suppose for my mindset commitments are heartfelt - if you are committed to a person and truly love them you will stay committed - you shouldn't need a piece of paper to prove your commitment to one another - which is what i felt like was happening with Raj and Avni.
Now coming to mission - lets get the families back together - I understand why Avni's family despises Raj's family. Why does Raj's family despise Avni's family? Raj made a decision to call the wedding off - the whole family was bummed about that.
Regardless enmity is deep seated now that apparently there is no turning back. I don't understand for a power couple such as Anjali and Vikram - they spent most of their time in Australia building their business - do they not have any more business to tend to over seas?
Virat - i should make a separate post just to address this parasite. Why was he so hell bent on separating Vikram and Sangeeta? What was his gain in framing Sangeeta? What was his role exactly on that night that he is so hell bent on safe guarding his secret? Not only that but spoilers show that he'll be responsible for Abhas's death just to save himself. How is it that Anjali and Vikram are nice, kind, well spoken people but Virat is comparatively uncouth? Vikram wasn't THIS well off when Sangeeta/Vikram/Anjali were young - what was Virat's motivation to ensure Anjali ends up with Vikram - if he was as rich as we see them today then it would make sense that he wanted Anjali to marry rich so he could live off of them.
Too many loop holes and as always we see Raj bending backwards to make things work and Avni in her immaturity and haste misunderstanding Raj. Initially at the beginning of the show it was cute but at this stage after all that they have been through - how can Avni think that Raj would do anything to hurt her or her family?
Thank you CVs for making an already bad track/plot even more terrible.
