I think the story may be a little dramatic but it's also realistic- a daughter wanting her father's attention and a father unhappy because he has a daughter. I think it's realistic; it does happen in the 21st century, unfortunately. Sometimes we are so used of seeing certain storylines projected in a soapish way, all dramatic and OTT, that we forget that they actually happen in real life. It's just that the cv's of these shows can't portray them realistically. We can look at Anjali's situation as the audience of the show and say that she doesn't need to please her father and take such a huge step but in reality people do it. They want to seek their fathers approval even if they know that it's not their fault that they aren't liked. Anjali is just hoping that her father will realise her worth and she wants to do something to make him realise. Until there is hope and expectation we can believe that a relationship can work but if we stop hoping or expecting from a relationship (even expecting that love/affection is reciprocated) it's not going to work. Anjali is holding on to that hope.
I find nothing bad in showing a father who doesn't really want her daughter. Yes, the thinking of the father is regressive but not the storyline because it still happens. I'm not even sure that I hate the father. Like someone said in a previous post, he had certain expectations that weren't fulfilled. The way he treats his daughter is very wrong though. But the way he behaves is due to his orthodox thinking so it's natural.
Overall, the show is nice. The acting of the main cast is okay, there's room for improvement but the supporting cast is good.

Show has gone only 3 episodes.. How can they say lacking content?? .. It was a massive prominent challenging content ever .. The thing main leads lacks corners of expressions and emotions.. We can't determine within a short span of time..who knows day by day we are going to get their performances.. I'm loving Anjali and Arjun's attitude.. Major lacking is from Rohan aka Akash.. I just want him to shape up his skill.. Slowly it can place a name..
